na, i don't expect a perfect woman at all. i love a morally gray character, like Princess Gaoyang from Empress of China. this one isn't morally grey, she is literally just a brat who has a crush and wants her way.

SO! He goes on a tour with all his fav consorts/concubines and on this tour he is being entertained by hookers. The Empress protests and he slaps her. She then cuts her hair, which is a taboo in Manchu culture. Her doing this was just her telling him she is done. He keeps her title as Empress but confines her to her palace until the day she dies. She has no power. The consorts now greet the Imperial Noble Consort Ling -- but she quickly falls from grace. The Empress did an investigation with the help of her best friend Consort Yu. All of Ling's crimes are exposed to the Emperor by the Dowager Empress, Empress, and Consort Yu. He forces Ling to take this poison every day until the day she dies to torture her. He tries to reconcile with Ruyi (Empress) but she refuses. Eventually she dies and he gives her the funeral of a Noble Lady -- several positions below her station.

No, the scenes are not doing that. People are able to watch this and still talk about the fantastic acting, however people like you are too caught up on their naked bodies and focus on that. They're not naked the entire duration of the show, so why can't you admire their talent? Grow up.

It's hard not to give it a good rating because the visuals are stunning and the acting is phenomenal- however, the writing is lacking.

Getting angry because there is nudity and/or sex is insane. Grow up. Turn it off. Clearly, this isn't for you - and that's okay! It doesn't have to be! To act like this concept is new in Kmedia is nuts. The acting is incredible and all you're doing is reducing the talent these people have, down to their bodies.
