It's not weird actually since it's 20 years later and they have aged. I think the actor they chose as Hongye here really suits the character and LSS.. well she is present in flashbacks which was a nice surprise

They changed his character quite a lot in the drama so fans begged WYX for so long to atleast change his name so that the drama wouldn't get hate over it from anime fans and that's why his name got changed from Wumu to Rumu. Thank god WYX listened to fans for once😂 (His name was Wang Quan Wumu in initial announcement)
From the genres and the trailer it does look like a serious revenge drama, closer to the recent Legend of Zang…
It's not even about their c fandom. even their international fandom, if they see you'd mentioned their drama here they'll screen shot your comment and post it all over twitter saying CY's fan are trying to ride on ... popularity. They have already done this many times before and I don't want to give them unnecessary fuel and a made up excuse to hate on CY
