That's his own reason. He never thought about Uk Mudeok at all! That's where he is wrong. He thinks he can beat Uk and win Mudeok. Take her to cure her or keep her safe! But he never thought UK can do the same. Maybe it will be dangerous, he never thought Mudeok's attachment with Uk. ☹️😭 Yul will end up getting hurt anyway. There's nothing he can do to replace UK's place in Mudoek's heart. He's fooling himself
