It's like when Lin Yusen finished his surgery successfully as a popular surgeon, he wanted to visit some gathering organised by Xigua. But on the way to that place he gets into an accident (ep1), and maybe injured his hands severely that he can't perform surgery anymore hence shifted his career to this company. However it wasn't Xigua who organised it she wasn't even aware of his identity or any relation. He holds a deep misunderstanding and keeps asking her if she does have good memory which is why he's too cold towards her. 😮‍💨
