Well tbh, HeYu as Huayong, Tian Yuan , Bu Cui couple, Prince Lie, Shen family are carrying the show for me. From beginning until now, yes she's smart, needs revenge, confused about feelings, thinks of safety, then character development acceptance sure. But I never fully liked the way they wrote Princess Zhaoning. Or maybe it's the editing. Suddenly something happens she's injured, saved, cured, multiple princes no clear line, smart games, actions, ideas etc And same expression 👁️👄👁️ Everytime even when she should be shocked or smile or kissed. Nothing. Plain outfit during a battle? Seriously girl? Liked her in Blossom my favourite and Princess Gambit or maybe first time saw her so accepted everything. No hate but expectations higher with Sucha Great Script. Little disappointed
So there's a war happening everything's on fire people flying and then princess comes over with a single bow 🏹 dressed in plain clothes no shield nothing and saves him. (She's also pregnant maybe) Sigh.
