I'm so curious, will Seongyeom ever have the guts to admit to himself and to Mijoo that he likes her if the drunk confession didn't happen?
Idk but to me it looks like KSG seems to be attracted to Mijoo at first sight, since he mostly forgets about everyone he meets, except for her lol. Also how he shows that he doesn't like other ppl touching or holding his hand but with Mijoo, he's more than ok with it.
Like he certainly is attracted to Mijoo but I wonder if he's aware of it before Mijoo's confession? hmmm I feel like Mijoo has been dropping hints since forever lol and really going the extra mile to help him and all.
Because with Mijoo's line "Can you like me?" I'm pretty sure she's troubled if KSG has feelings for her all along or he's just being kind, like he does to everybody else lol. Gosh I hope KSG confesses straight up when she's not drunk and also I wonder why Mijoo got mad at him on the preview for ep 7.
Lol this drama is taking over my lifeeeee. All my theories are debunked every episode lol. This drama is so good!
So sad... why was the rating dropped. This is such an amazing show. Why oh why? Let's support RUN ON please....Fighting!!!
Tbh it's actually quite expected to drop because of the Year end awards, that's a super tough competition. Tonight is tougher as we have 2 year ender (kbs and sbs) and of course, many people are celebrating on their own.
I only have 3 words to describe episode 5 --- MIJOO BEST GIRL!
I seriously love and adore Oh Mijoo's character so much, she's so flawed and yet so loving and strong. Just the type of adult I aspire to be, she obviously so hurt herself as well and yet she gives so much love. Shin Sekyung is really nailing it with this role! Every episode she's delivering powerful lines that feels so genuine and sincere, I find myself crying and feeling consoled after hearing it.
Sekyung did well choosing this role after Goo Haeryung, if you guys are looking for another strong FL, you might want to check this out too.
their chemistry behind the scenes is everything.when they finished filming "do you like me scene?" ISW approached…
I could literally watch their behind the scenes for hours. I find myself repeating the 5min. clips over and over again. When watching their bts, I feel like we're secretly watching their friendship blossom. What a beautiful sight to see two very warm and kind-hearted people work and have fun together.
Yes! I’m counting down to it... I’ve been staying up later to catch the episodes the minute they’re added…
omg me too! I thought I was the oinly one counting minutes before it's released on Netflix lol. I even make sure I've got nothing else to do to focus lol This drama is taking over my life
This FL is turning out to be a favorite for me, she reads the ML so well and is so sound and smart. I also love…
Me too! The FL is killing it, I never knew how much tired I am with the normal FLs before. I love how she puts so much value into her self-worth, really inspiring and it emanates on how she takes care of the ML. She's also so practical, confident and quirky. I love Oh Mijoo, perhaps my next fave ML after Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung :)
I especially love how she pauses while delivering lines which are thoughtful. like the character is actually thinking…
Nice observation! Those little pauses make her dialogue delivery so natural. No matter how long her lines are, it sinks deep thanks to her delivery. Merry Christmas to you too :)
Oh i had the same thought, that she probably had some kind of trauma before. This story feels really rich, like…
Yes, very rich. The dialogues are gripping and yet the words they use are simple. Storytelling is very nice too. Aside from her shock from that incident, I'm also curious if there's a hidden reason why she's into fake guns. I do sense it has something to do with how she lost her parents or maybe she just really has some cure little unique quirks lol.
I love and adore Sae kyeong's acting ever since Hindsight. Her acting style is just up my alley. She never overacts and shows natural reactions to scenarios given to her. I also enjoy hearing her voice and immaculate diction. Clearly shows how she's been honing her craft.
Props to her varied choice in her projects as well. She's clearly the type to take on several types of projects especially looking back her filmography early on her career.
Hope she gets all the love she deserves internationally as she is very much well-loved in her home country.
I super love Shin Sae kyeong's acting and portrayal as Oh Mijoo. Very natural and relatable. Astounding, I must say. I feel like she's truly doing a great job at picking her roles. From Rookie Historian Goo Haeryung, and now with Run On. But why does it feel like nobody's talking about her? huhu :( Oh Mijoo is such a great character, very admirable. She's very honest with other people and with herself, straightforward, and very loving.
I especially love all her lines and the way she delivers it with so much heart and sincerity. I want to see her backstory as well. As of now, she's been doing so much in helping Seongyeom, but I also want to know her story. From the scene where she cried out of shock, I do feel like she has some sort of trauma. I hope her story gets some fleshing out too in the future episodes.
Sae kyeong as Mijoo deserves some hype too. She's doing so well with the acting. Hoping she gets all the love she deserves.
Congrats dear, Shin Se Kyung! You did an awesome job in Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung! Your acting and overall performance is really great. Your character is my female lead of the year!
Shin Sekyung is a goddess. She did so well in this drama, and I better never see someone bashing her acting again!
I've seen most of her works, even the earlier ones and see nothing wrong with her acting. But I must admit, RHGHR solidified my love for her. Almost feels like the role was written for her. She was really convincing! :)
I've seen raves on the male lead, Cha Eun Woo but can we also give appreciation and love to the female lead, Shin Se Kyung? I think she did outstandingly well in this drama. For me her acting is on point during the entire run of the drama and nothing felt out of place.
I just think she deserves some rave and love as well, she was amazing and I felt so bad reading the comments here prior to the airing of this drama. Good thing, Shin Se Kyung proved her bashers/ haters wrong. Her acting is great especially her delivery of her dialogues.
IMHO, she deserves to be really recognized for her historical drama roles. She does it so well and I don't understand how people hate her acting, when she's being praised/recognized for her Saeguks in SK. (From what I understand, in Korea you can't be a good actor/actress when you can't do a historical drama well, cos for them it's on a different level and requires better acting) and Se Kyung has been earning praises for her Saeguks even during Deep Rooted Tree days.
Se Kyung played the titular well, I hope she is given appreciation now and not bombarded with hate even before her project starts. She's amazing and her personality seems lovely as well. Bashing and saying mean things to her is just bad and hurtful. Who knows she might have read some....
