Ji Soo
One of the best second lead. If it is not for the love of romantic comedy, you should watch this for Ji Soo, he is fine. While he is stern as you would expect of a police officer, you can feel the warmth behind the feelings he didn't recognize long enough to lose the girl. I can't complain about the other leading actors, they were all good indeed, but I was biased to Ji Soo character from the get go. The one thing that was off for me, was the psycho kidnapper and his scenes with the women he abducted, these were parts in the drama I found mostly disturbing, along with some of the fighting scenes. Again, watch for Ji Soo, you won't regret it, and probably, you would follow his other dramas. I certainly will. Was this review helpful to you?
I watched afterward, just hoping that I will get to understand what they are looking for apart from Choi Ye-Eun, but it was not the same after her departure. Of course, there were some other talents to watch for, but maybe I was biased from the first round.
For the few personal interactions between the judges and the contestants, they were nice to watch. I hope they made more of that direct contact and advice. I mean not from judging seats, when they get on on-to-one with the contestants.
The program is good overall, but it could have been perfect if they get it right.

Only for EXO-L
If you are an EXO die hard fan, you can watch this. But don't expect too much of a story. It is just so simple, naive if you are to be critical. There is a glimpse of a potential good drama if the characters were given more depth. Supporting cast was wasted. Good that they did not drag a very simple story further with fillers, and wrap the whole thing up in few episodes. But Choco Bank could be better a romance movie, still with more intensity for the story line. Again, you must be an EXO loyal fan to watch this one.Was this review helpful to you?
Not really comedy, not really action
Even while watching this during stay home, I considered dropping it mid way. But I watched till the end, and my opinion didn't change much. Though I have to say, the movie tried to catch up at the end, but it was too late. If it wasn't for Yu Hae Jin, the movie would have been dismissable. But even he couldn't make the movie a good one. The story had potential, but may be, the way it was handled and the miscasting, all doomed the movie to flop. It was a complete mess between comedy, action, and a little bit of romance, but you can 't say any genre worked fine. Again, Yu Hae Jin did his best, but it wasn't enough to make it work. Watch it for the sake of arguing this review, may be you find something I couldn't see.Was this review helpful to you?
