I think some people gave up because of the FL in the beginning but if they just stuck it out for few more episodes, she really grows up. People who read the novel said she's actually worse in the novel lol.

Some people don't like the FL at first because she's in what I call 'FL childish era' the first several episodes but she gets much much better.

There's no unanimous agreement about the ending. To me it's a happy ending no question.

Agree so many good looking actors, but to me XZ shines for more than just his looks.

XZ a big big star and c-net is so competitive and vicious that he's a huge target. I strive to ignore his antis. But it's kind of fun to sit back and eat popcorn when zharma-karma slaps them in the face though :)

I personally like the diversity of roles he chooses. But there's still a lot he hasn't done so lots to look forward to :)

I think I only watched the XZ episode in that drama. Didn't know Ren Min was there too. XZ and his mom are so cute. I remember he was so proud of his spreadsheet lol.

I truly believe it is a happy ending. I posted above why I think so. Basically in a xian xia where there are many tragic endings, in the end SH and ZY are together. We know they had a child because their grandchildren are in the sequel to this drama. That to me is a happy ending.
