It was so awesome seeing Xiao Zhan in the Dragon TV New Years countdown, not only for his performances. It was great to see him smile a lot, hug people, take selfies, etc. He seemed relaxed, happy and genuinely enjoy himself. How cute is he and Na Ying together.

Hi. There's supposed to be a Xiao Zhan channel in the wetv app (first artist to have their own channel? wow!) I am in US, have android phone and tablet. In Google play, I didn't see the wetv app but there's a Tencent app with the same logo, so I downloaded that but didn't see the XZ channel. Wondering if anyone has seen the channel in US? I'm just glad to see changes in what is considered conventionally beautiful in the last several years . I have a teenage nephew who is half Asian and half Black. He's tall, good looking with curly hair. He gets lots of attention from girls lol. When I was in school, there was a girl who was same, but back then she got made fun of especially for that big hair.

Agree! I'm of Chinese descent as well but wasn't born in China. Years ago, while growing up, my brother had kind of an inferiority complex because he feels that Asian males were considered lower in the standard of beauty. That's partly his own insecurity but he also took a lot of cues from society. Asian males' portrayal in the media was almost always not that flattering - non-threatening second banana, henchmen, dorky nerd, etc. I'm glad to see that in the last several years, more and more Asian males are in media and being called handsome. I think an Asian person winning something like this just helps.

Xiao Zhan's 2020 red sea is spectacular. I posted here at that time that he was twitter trending in several countries including here in US too, which to me is damn cool considering twitter is behind the China firewall, if I'm not mistaken, so he's that well known internationally! We have 3 new dramas to look forward to and I can't wait. I love how different his roles are. I wonder what other roles his fans would like to see him in. I kinda want to see him as an arrogant ceo because I would have a hard time believing that. :)

The injustice just bothers me so much but I'll take your advice and not worry too much for now. ;) I'm glad to hear that things are better and they didn't succeed in bringing a good person down, though perhaps some damage to his reputation might be irreparable. Some people will forever think of him and his fans a certain way :( I really hope we see the carefree XZ like he is in variety shows again. He seems so serious lately. (But that might be because his latest role is that of a military person and maybe there are still remnants.) I was just re-watching episode 12 of Our Song and his giggle when he got one word of the charade was just so damn cute. I hope we see that again soon.
