That completely went over my head! So basically Joon feels rejected and regretful. I hope Gook is the one to confess and realize that Joon likes him. Knowing how kdramas work, Joon may end up confessing while Gook is asleep lol.

Can you also explain to me what you think Tae Joo meant when he said that he was doing Gook this favor? In the beginning of ep 4 he narrated that he was doing this favor for him but in ep 2 while they were at the gym or wherever Tae Joon told Gook it was his gift to him, giving that girl his real number. And he told him not to resent him later. Were the subs right for that? Y would he resent him??

I don't think that he knows how Gook feels. Gook isn't really obvious with his feelings, he constantly rejects his advances and doesn't show any emotions towards the things that he does aside from anger. I don't think that Joon is possessive over him, my perception of it is that their long time friends and seeing Gook date and possibly like someone else brings his emotions for him to the forefront. Also Gook has never dated, according to the dialogue so when he initiates skinship with Gook I don't think its bc he thinks Gook likes him but rather his way of maybe seeing if Gook feels anything for him. I appreciate your perspective and I hope that we get some validation in the next two episodes.

In the car Tae Joo said that his shadow (referencing Gook since he's always beside him) suddenly grew a conscious (a self) and he shouldn't.

What does he mean that Gook isn't suppose to have a conscious?

I think Gook will be the one to either confess or make an executed move, it only makes sense after he's rejected Joon since the first episode. Not only has Gook rejected him, he asked him to stop "provoking" him. On top of all of that he told the girl that he didn't like him in that way and that they had a master/servant relationship. Ofc that hurt Joon's feelings so I don't see him confessing (Joon)...It would make sense for Gook to confess so that there leaves no confusion on his, Joon's or the audience's part lol. Also he's considered the "attacker" (Top) so him confessing would be so swoon worthy?? He may even get into an argument with Joon and angry kiss him?‍♂️? Also as much as Joon has flirted and made moves on Gook, he only goes but so far and he does it always in a joking. He always holds back. So yea, I see Gook confessing!
