Well I disagree story wise went places. If u talking about the main plot, the curse plot, yes you are right.
The story has a lot of sub stories. Both romances. The new disciple. yet ability to see ghosts restored. All are part of the plot that will unfold later (I did not read the book but I am sure it will be necessary down the line)
And you all need to stop seeing Khem as the damsel in distress he is not.
