Everyone is helping me understand their relationship so well. Thank you. Im mentally revisiting the first few episodes and see where you’re coming from so much clearer. I’m excited to finish 8 and start to see the developments.

I’m reanalyzing their interactions mentally to see if I can pinpoint the start of her attraction. My best guess so far is when he saved her at seven. Did it happen earlier? I’m realizing I may not be the best at this.

I agree. The sparks are starting, though (I’m at the beginning of episode 8 and it can change in a scene), I haven’t noticed it on her end yet. Maybe I’m being dense though. I really appreciate the timeline. I was reading the little descriptions underneath the Netflix episode guide and realized it wasn’t even remotely hinting at what I wanted to know.

Some shows I need mild spoilers to look forward to. Could anyone give me a hint when friendship, affection, or romance starts to bloom? I’m on episode 8 and i don’t mind the development so far, but so far there hasn’t been any of the lead interactions I enjoy.

I feel like all of the character developments are happening in a believable way. I love that their relationship isn’t being written as a superficial attraction, but as two people who genuinely care and rely on each other.

I was so sure they wouldn’t comfort each other, I was so happy that they did. And they did it in such a character driven way. When she said he cared about her feelings more than she did. It was such a thoughtfully written seen showing believable character development.

I love that the writer used an excuse for the absent father that the female lead couldn’t relate to at all. (At least that’s the way it seems to me). He left because he felt young, she stepped up to care for her grandmother even though she was young. The writer chose a point of conflict that would be hard for them to agree on. Someone pass me the popcorn.

Do you think they’ll continue to develop the conflicts/storylines between the fathers and the leads? I wouldn’t mind throwing a few popcorn kernels at the screen.

I was wondering that myself. I kind of like watching a mature cast, though…maybe a seasoned cast would be a better phrase. Their arguing is the same as their past selves. Maturity may not be the characters strongest features.

I just noticed that the show seems to be set last year in 2023. Does anyone know if that’s a story choice, or if it was a production delay, or something else entirely? Just curious.

I find it interesting. It’s a pretty solid drama so far. Won’t be on my top ten list, (unless it ends amazingly) but it’s an entertaining watch.

Has anyone found a good show to watch while we wait? This show has such pure almost inspirationally sweet leads. I’ve been using it as a break from the more harsh or realistic dramas I’m watching. Does anyone have any suggestions for a stress free drama.

Just want to add this drama caught me off guard. The first episode felt like it packed on so much information and moved through many stories, yet it still felt slow and relaxed. It took me a while to decide that I was loving this show, but it didn’t take long at all for me to fall for the characters. They kept me coming and are the major reason I love it. It reminds me of love me love my voice. Not in the story but in the way that I loved the characters so much. I want to know what happens. It brings me back to reading children’s stories when I was young. There was no doubt the hero’s were good. It feels sweet.

Did anyone else turn into a little granny who needed to make her a meal when she said she was hungry in episode 2?

Could anyone give a mild spoiler that will help me hold out hope for liking the male lead? I’m on episode four. I get the doing it for her own good concept, but….getting it and liking him haven’t connected yet.
