I can relate to that, took me some time to get used to her role in Dafeng, even double checked to see if its really her acting that role haha. Though, do keep in mind, you may find the scenes...a bit exaggerating, for me, I can accept it.

I've heard about the multiple wives thing, but heavily doubt this drama would add that element in there. Truee, when he shouted that name out, my mind was like....WOW. For me, her character started off pretty childish, perhaps for comedic relieve but as of the latest episode, she kinda mellows down on those...can see that her character is getting a little mature. Again, will have to keep watching to see where it leads to. Imo
