She has no feelings for any of the two SML, even though one of the SML loves her very much and is willing to sacrifice his life for her.
She only shows interest in ML, but even so, she is still a little reluctant to fully open up her heart to him, as she knows she doesn't belong to that century and will eventually go back to her own.
After watching 28 episodes, I am getting bored. I am tired of seeing FL getting hurt or villains trying to kill her over and over again. Still have 12 episodes to go, hope the following episodes will be more exciting.
Also I find that the ML is somewhat useless, it is always the two SML, Lige and Baili, who help the FL the most.
The lowest 2.1 ratings in Douban were rated by around 199,000 viewers as of today. It is unlikely that so many viewers who gave their ratings were all prejudiced against ZH. So I don’t think ZH has angered someone that caused him to be slandered. In fact his scriptwriting skills really need to be improved or maybe he should change some of his perceptions if he wants to continue writing scripts in the future. (MyDramalist here is only rated by 90 plus viewers at the moment)
This is a very nice detective movie. It set in the republican era, 1930s. Actually there are 10 episodes in total (movie series). This one here is episode no. 10, the last episode. You have to watch the 1st episode first and then continue accordingly to get a better understanding of the character development among the main leads. Each episode has one crime to be solved & there are different crimes for different episodes. It shows very little romance & focuses mainly on solving crimes. So far there are only 3 or 4 episodes with Eng sub available on youtube.
I actually like this drama because I really couldn’t take my eyes off Wallace here. He was super handsome & sexy in this drama. The acting skills of both Janine Chang & Wallace were of course great & they had very good chemistry together. It’s just that the plots here were outdated & from the beginning until the end of the drama, Janine did not fall in love with Wallace. She was crazily in love with the 2nd male lead. But she & Wallace had a lot of interaction & were quite interesting. Luckily they filmed an extra special ending episode where she finally chose Wallace (I think this is to satisfy Wallace’s fans & the majority of the viewers who think that she should love the male lead, Wallace).
