The dad wasnt responsible for Seran's dad death. He was accussed by seran's mum, vented all her hate and resentment onto her daughter. Poor Fl dad served time for a crime he didn't commit.

I find it odd, they're married right. Though no one (who is rich) acknowledges this. Its only the house workers that accept it. Everyone else treats her as if she doesn't count. Even the ML at the start he was generous behind her back but in her face was horrible. If he wants her to stay for the year he is doing a terrible job. He is the one using her to keep the kids by his side.
