I mean the reason it's got such a high score is because all the things you mentioned here are very realistic and people found themselves in these characters precisely because of all of their wrongs. It shows us how people make mistakes and deal with them and then life passes. That's it. It's too close to home. As for the men... they might not be realistic very much but that is another reason this has a good score. The love these men showed might have been too high and unrealistic but it was refreshing to see men do what in history has been done by women so often. That kind of unconditional love was done by real women and people love that here we see it done by men for change. Nobody should just slave to love of course, but the love was very reciprocated by women so that makes it balanced. But of course, to each their own. ^^

In the end he probably still really wished Light wasn't Kira because he was his only friend (even tho he was 100% sure Light is Kira). Honestly for me that was a great moment at the end, I was shocked and sad, it brought something different about the way this L is potrayed (different from anime/manga/original movie) but still something about him that just makes you feel for him.
Rewatched it once more. Probably my 4th time, just love the vibe this drama has. It's so simply funny and the story is really good that I don't even notice the minutes passing no matter how many times I rewatch it. Toma is the role I would kill to play, that's how much I love her. And Ninomae is so cute. (Am I the only one who is reminded of young Taemin when I see him smile?)
