Did you watch the actual scene of that break up or did you only watch the preview? If you watch it, you'd understand…
Like I said before, just because it wasn't shown doesn't mean it didn't happen. You just didn't dare to venture deeper... Just because they weren't explicit about it doesn't mean-- Sigh~ Well it's not like I'll get through no matter how I explain it. Have it your way π€·

Have I ever said he moved on? Minus whatever was written in the novel, we could say it's his defense mechanism to make it seem like it didn't happen. Just because they didn't make it seem like he was greatly affected doesn't mean he wasn't. In fact, it could be worse for him since he isn't showing any signs of it.
It's up to them to decide whether they'd be a sexless couple or not. Not for one person to avoid the issue and act like nothing was wrong. She knows. He wasn't wrong when he felt like he was being treated like a pet only there to confront her. She never even asked whether he was okay with their sexless situation despite knowing his desire. So for that I can't blame him. They could show that 30sec admitting he was wrong but IMO they didn't need to.

I'm sorry but that's your opinion. Just because you don't agree doesn't mean you have to impose your own opinion to others. SA not being addressed properly?? We deal with things differently. Sei didn't react strongly because of his deep bond with Kazuaki. What do you want?? He should cower in fear?? Fly in to rage?? Other people deal with their trauma by living their lives just like they did before it happened. Making it seem like it never happened at all. The consent part, it's normal for couple to feel hornt and have s*x. It doesn't have anything to do with misogyny. This just seemed like misogyny because the POV is from a man. I'm not saying it doesn't have to be consensual, but couple eventually do it. If she didn't want to, she should have explained her side and then decided how to proceed with their relationship. After all people like her exist. Those who are uncomfortable with s*x but loves their partner dearly. Yet, she made sure to take advantage of Hagiwara's kind personality, making use of "consent" as way to avoid the issue and give him hope for "Next Time" that they weren't sure if it'll come.

Well, we take things differently. The standards of Likeability varies from person to person. Your opinion doesn't represent everyone else's but it's valid since it's yours.
For me, they were flawed characters. It was a flawed story. But it was meant to be a flawed story. I'm not sure if you noticed but majority (not all) of the viewers were rooting for them to cheat.
I love the story and I disagree with you at some points, but that is also my own opinion.

It wasn't about the argument, It was the way she delivered that line that he responded the way he did. She treated him like a pet that is there to comfort her when she gets home. Hagiwara was already feeling conflicted and disgusted about himself, doubting his own love for her, thinking "maybe he's only being nice to her because he wanted to have s*x" when it was supposed to normal for couples. He loves her But he needs her consent yet He never once forced his way in. In a way he respected her, ironically speaking, since cheating is opposite of respect.
But the way she was talking about it seemed like she would've been fine if he cheated and would understand... That is if it was with a woman. It hurt her ego that it was with a man. You can hardly justify her anger.
Ofc, cheating can never be justified no matter which angle you look at it from. He should've just broken up with her if he was frustrated. But because they both didn't address the problem, this happened.
He didn't confront her while she seemed like she was just waiting to be confronted.

I'm pretty sure what she said was "Just because I didn't allow you to do it?" which implies that she was treating him like a dog which she didn't give treats to. It's akin to saying "just because I didn't give you treats?". It's like a dog she kept telling to sit when it wanted to stand and expected it to listen just because she's the owner. That line was a more or less justified.
I respect your opinion although I can't agree with it.
Although their actions can't be justified no matter how much we bend our views over it, it just shows that there are a lot of different types of relationships out there. Circumstances we don't know of. And ways to deal with it that we don't agree with, just like your opinion. But I respect that.
Although I don't know what made you think this was the worst out of all the other more boring and bland BL stories out there, I still respect it. After all, we are entitled to our options.
the plot centred around "how desire/intimacy is also very imp in rs" and they could have portrayed it in so many…
Did you watch the actual scene of that break up or did you only watch the preview? If you watch it, you'd understand that Kaori was uncomfortable with intercourse. It's a fact she herself knew but kept it from her partner letting her partner suffer without knowing the actual reason. By not saying it, she invalidated her partner's right to decide how to move forward with their relationship. Well, she kept it a secret and feelings were bottled up leading to the current situation. "I'm not your dog" line was just the tip of the iceberg.
I've only watched episode 1 of this when it was still airing.... I didn't want to be disappointed back then. I wasn't disappointed at all when I finished this yesterday π . Did I make the wrong choice back then or this was just the right time for meπ π ?
Anyway, it was good guys. Although I usually judge the genuineness of the acting through the genuineness of the kisses, this did not disappoint in both the acting and the kisses π
Lol. It's not that I'm biased against pecks but... Ahem.
The novel series still continues. Only a couple of things from book 3 have made it into the movie, but the majority…
I'm curious why Book3 story is harder to adapt.. is it harder to adapt because it's not suitable to be adapted? like contains a lot of scenes that are quite graphic? And where can I read the book?
Nuuu! I love Yiwha in this. I'm sorry to hear she's not so fun in Next Chapter. If you don't mind, can you elaborate…
Let's just say there's a lot of cheating elements in the "next chapter". And I don't really think it was her character, But I don't really know her whole character cause I skipped "Bad Romance" which supposedly takes place after this one and before "next chapter".
Hm, in general, I personaly prefer the movie over the series due to a few reasons:1. Lyn in the movie is badass…
After reading this comment, I don't think I'll ever watch this series unless I'm forced to. Cuz I can agree with both of your reasons. I'm not saying I couldn't watch anything that involves romance in it but-- I have trust issues so I'll stick to the movie I say years ago (LOL)
I didn't know this was supposed to be Jimmy Tommy instead of TutorYim. I can't help thinking that Tommy might've been a better choice but Yim was doing a pretty good job as Jade in Bed Friend . And I'm darn excited to see TutorYim beyond their Cutiepie Roles...
