In my opinion the only way his career could be over is his personal decision and I can't rule out that he is traumatized…
Thanks a lot đź’š
It's sad that the entertainment officials are unable to see the problem, I'm just not sure if putting them under pressure will be a solution.
So they didn't mention his name because he is involved in "scandal", but they are showing the commercials with him?

Thanks for this. I am a bit worried by the haters in this site. Full of negativity and crap! But I just have to…
"I am a bit worried by the haters in this site. Full of negativity and crap!" 🤔 Am I missing something? Because the majority comments here are positive.

His career is not over, at least yet. Some Korean are not that easily to forgive someone, even with the slightest…
I might sound like someone obsessed with numbers but the proportions are important. For example some netizens tried to boycott 11Street because the company released new spot with him, it was even trending on Twitter and the result - very nonchalant 11Street's answer that the issue is already concluded. They answered like that, because their transactions increased to an all-time high and the effect of the boycott was insufficient. The public mood is different this time and even the Korean society is tired of toxic cancel culture. The choice of director Park Hoon-jung that he is going to base his final decision (on whether to keep Kim Seon Ho in the cast or not) on the trend of public opinion is described as a bold move. And he had problem to find a potential replacement for him, which means that the actors were sympathetic to Kim Seon Ho or were afraid of the possible critic (especially from his fan base). I bet that the two other projects, which he was removed, are struggling now with the same problem and I bet the entertainment officials are just processing the situation, because there was nothing as they predicted. You are right, nothing is settled yet, I just have some hope, because all these advertising campaigns were built on his image and reputation and almost all of them are airing now.
btw. What “thequ” means?

I mostly agree, but in their defense, the accusation was potentially deadly and they probably followed the procedure, still they may wait for the official statement and not talking nonsense that his reputation wasn't as important as his reliability, when they obviously built their advertising campaigns on his image and reputation.
And of course, he provided huge profits to the channels and they were surprised that some people really appreciate his talent, not his obviously fake, inhuman image, which they created. Just less advertising contracts and more good scripts for this guy.
I didn't read the statement of kbs/2d1n, so I would be grateful for source.

This is almost a 180 degree change for him. The last Korean article I read stated that the cancellation was a mistake from the very beginning and there were no evidences of his "guilt". Did you see the evolution of statements of these companies:
-> Trying to put the blame on Kim Seon Ho: "He should have explained the situation and let us handle it with him. Only had he been up front, we wouldn’t have had to cut ties with him.", "But because he handled the crisis with zero professionalism and maturity, we have no choice but to reconsider our contract. We foresee that it will be difficult for him to rebuild the trust with other brands as well."
It makes me speechless because he was in shock, his whole world fell apart and the intimate details about his private life were published, so they should have at least some decency and FGS this was his agency's job to handle the situation.
-> Trying to convince the public opinion that they are very generous because they didn't ask him to pay a penalty fee.
-> Resuming the cooperation with him ASAP, when they realized that they’re losing the potential profits.
I'm fully aware of this, still buying their products is one of few instruments of pressure we have and it works.
If I remember correctly KBS edited him out not blurred (not that it’s a big difference anyway).

HIS CAREER IS OVER!! SO SAD! HE WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO BE THE NEXT BIG THING!1
In my opinion the only way his career could be over is his personal decision and I can't rule out that he is traumatized to the point of giving up his acting. However, regard to the official announcement, he will stay on the cast of the film "Sad Tropics" and it seems to prove otherwise. You know... they hided him, edited him out, blurred his face and removed him from several projects with "nice" comments stated that he is no more suitable for the role. They still couldn't remove his previous work and the influence on the viewers.

Now he has 7.9 mil followers on Instagram, half a million more than he had before the so-called scandal. The online shopping site 11Street released advertisement video for the "The 10th Festival" with him as the model and reached an all-time high revenue of 40 percent, mainly because of Kim Seon Ho's CF. After Miima Mask put back up the advertisements with him and noted increase in sales instantly, all these companies and brands followed this path, because they all want to have their own piece of the pie. They may toking about how they previously wanted to "handle the situation with him" and his "reputation isn't as important as his reliability", how they "saw his sincerity while filming and have no intention of canceling the contract." This is the pure hypocrisy but it shows how the companies perfectly know that the Korean society is mostly by his side now and there are millions of fans who may spend their money on their products. They even bring beck TV adverts and show them in tvN, when they previously blurred his face. The irony...

His agency… how to even start. In my opinion they should be sued for working against their own client. That's…
The longer I'm thinking about it, the less sense it makes. I can't see how exactly his fall could be profitable for his agency. Don't they make profits from all his works including the participation in commercials? And their other clients must have seen this disaster. There was recently information that Kim Ji Won is seeking a new company for her promotions and won't be renewing her contract with Salt. This is not very surprising. Maybe I overestimated their abilities (I saw their "office" on Twitter) but even if their office will be located in a cote that fact doesn't exempt they from doing professional work. I guess they simply panicked after the controversies leaked and they were completely unable to handle the situation. My first thought after I saw his apology was – is there any sane person around him. Good for him that his fans are doing his agency job but I think it's not supposed to work like that.

I don't get why people are siding with his agency? That it was a good move staying silent, like seriously.I definitely…
His agency… how to even start. In my opinion they should be sued for working against their own client. That's a radical statement, but I see an endless series of mistakes. They are so incapable that they were suspected of being behind the exposure of Kim Seon Ho's controversy. They didn't answer the phones when the journalists and brand representatives desperately tried to get in touch. Seriously, they have probably enough money to buy half of my town, they have the best lawyers and they turned off their phones as a response to the crisis. Which means that they didn't have any strategy at all knowing perfectly well how Korean entertainment industry works. Then we have his literally suicidal apology. They not only didn't stop him, they made his statement official despite most likely knowing the full true. I know that this kind of apology is a part Asian culture but it was almost a statement of guilt regarding every accusation listed. And the icing on the cake, the obviously false accusation of forced abortion (it wasn't even clear in his ex-girlfriend statement) spreads throughout the Internet without any reaction. If his fans (and generally people who adore his acting) didn't stay loyal and determined before Dispath's revelations came there would be nothing to salvage.
