Great review, you said exactly what I was thinking. There were so many roads this drama could have taken, and they ruined it, by rushing it, and delving into a story line that we-as the viewers were not interested in.
Are we really going to stop following and watching beautiful Sung Joon because he is married? Of course not, we should celebrate that he has someone to love him, support him, and accompany him. Let's wish him well, and continue to support his artistry.
The Handmaiden , adapted from a book "published in 2002, Fingersmith is a story of deception involving a pickpocket, a conman, a pornographer and an heiress. Now it has been reimagined in film by Korean director Park Chan-wook, who has defied differences in culture, gender and media to create a complementary classic of erotic cinema".
I really enjoyed this series; however, I do agree with the comments about the first series, it could have been better organized, but I still loved it. I want to continue with these characters, and see how they grow, and develop. The chemistry between Ji Soo and Chung Chae Yeon was perfect.
You should watch him in All Out of Love; I only watched his parts in Love Lasts Two Minds. I actually like how he uses his eyes to show emotion instead of his body.
I would have to pass. I loved the books and TV series. Good article though.
I love Diana Gabaldon, love the Outlander books, but have no interest in the television series. However, if it was a Korean drama, cast as you have outlined, I would watch it! Thank you for doing this. I am a huge history buff, I love Korean history, and1592 would be the perfect period. Thank you again for your efforts, they are appreciated.
