@Rebecca Blaque I see no lies. So glad someone's articulated what I've been thinking ever since I started watching BL dramas. It's as if they have a 'Fair Skin Lives Matter' frame in allTV/Film production offices. UGH. Also the blatant whitening skin adverts within and accompanying the shows. Colourism is rampant and even more dangerous now because the propagators and offenders have gotten slick about it.

The acting of the ensemble cast is patchy. I read somewhere that Tul, all through shooting this show was unwell; so that kind of explains the awkwardness in his portrayal of Bun. On the plus side the locations and properties they've shot at are stunning.
The premise is interesting... and ep 1 sets up things well. It's just a shame that 'I told sunset about you' is still fresh in my mind and the acting in 'Manner of Death' so far, is not that great.
