He is a demon in its real meaning. Unlike the drama version doesn’t care about his people , he personally killed so many of them. He used XLH till the end and admitted loving her after she died. He was really cruel to her.

Just read the novel. It’s completely different. The drama is 100% better. DFQC is so much cooler and better in the drama, the novel version is so bad you’d wish to not have a happy ending for the way he treated our XLH.
