I think it might be a republican drama judging by the set and poster. It’s definitely a drama made for TV since Tong Yao is acting in it and she does TV dramas which is very good cause he will reach a wider audience and might even get awards nominations from prestigious awards if it’s a good role. Though i really wanted him to film shadow love as well.

Finally CX is added on blood problem , still unsure whether will be a guest or a support role , probably won’t know until airing date. Good news is that Cheng Xiao has been working and getting new brand deals and brand events since the end of fangs of fortune’s filming and i am so happy for her.
