Surprisingly good watch, binge watch it the whole weekend.

Felt like its supposed to be different dating shows but none of them can't be a standalone, so they just aggregate it to one. The king game and isolation for me, doesn't feel like anything revolutionary or experimental-like.

The best is probably the blind date in the bed. They could have pulled a few experimenters in that kind of format, but I doubt that it's the first concept they have thought off. My gut feel is the drunk dating and blind date were after thought to pad in to the two dating shows.

Ah sure. sure. let's pretend that squid game doesn't have the same subplot. Ok.

how does my statement suggest that? one thing is clear tho, squid game is an international hit that convince netflix to invest on kdrama. So...why act like my statement is not grounded on fact?

Netflix is desperate to find their next Squid Game.

Everyone is so intense and at a peak caliber in acting.

It was enjoyable for the first few episodes, until it becomes boring and repetitive.

Mid. Nothing extraordinary.

I thought at first it will be an explosive series episode by episode, but didn't realize that it will be a slowburn extrapolation of past life of the main character. I stick with it and did not expect to have watch like half of the series already. It was engaging enough, but the title and the opening scene felt like a misdirect. Later then I found out it's based on true story. oh wow. lol. The last few episodes when the tide changed sustained the series til the end.

Great start. Great ending. The middle part feels so long. Acting is top notch tho.

Why dont he find a private doctor that will actually help him purge out the drug in his system? This is the oddest drug, usually people withdraw by feeling cold and shaky. This one, it just strikes randomly.

4 more episodes? The 22nd episode feels like a finale. What can they squeeze out for 4 more episodes?

Did the writer forgot that Kamin used to live in hotel because he cant be bothered doing any chores or have someone else do things for him, then all of a sudden, he was obssessed with chores?

I always enjoy Netflix documentaries, so I hope they do more of these in SE Asia, because there are a LOT of stories that need to be told.
