I feel like peizhen isnt the real villain this guy just has abandonment issues and over confidence. So he just bully Qin xiaoyi overall they both are company rivals so it make sense if there's tense between them .

you can definitely say this written by an experienced screenwriter , the take on everything is so organised and sensible. I love how they display each characters on this drama their emotions feelings and everything . The cinematography is amazing the director managed to incorporate retro city vibes with modern city vibes beautifully.I am loving the pace of the drama so far and every ost is also amazing and we dont talk enough about the prelude of this drama ,it is animated perfectly with ost . they definitely did period drama along with modern-day perfectly blended .
