awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww TT_TT in the 1st eps when he tried so hard to save the possessed people it really touched my heart ;(

why couldn't they see that, why couldn't they see how perfect and sweet JDY would've represented him TT__TT

it still feels surreal to me, it's like they took their built anger about everything else and threw it all at JE ;(

my ratio is the 4th ep, ie 1/4th of any drama but I have exceptions which is cliches and repetitions (my fastest drop was 10min of the 1st ep for Love with Flaws and I was not wrong at all xD)

I did like Lee Min Ki in the beauty inside and that was the exception for bearing through that type of expressionless character

in sunbae lipstick, once they moved past that 1st move, suddenly he did a 180 and became the sweetest ml. and the fl did a 180 and said she liked him. then magically they became the cutest "mature" couple xD

was Jang Dong Yoon "Sejong the Great"?

I'm really really realllyy sad this got cancelled ;( everyone worked so much, was it so hard for them to ask "will it be ok to do this" before they started filming :(
it's not like one person has the power to approve this, there are so many people that could've said "wait" TT_TT

it's becasue they've always been like this.
I watched the full Sunbae Don't Put On That Lipstick, and my 1st assessment was right, though I loved the 2 mains there the story was horrible.
with these types of plots, kdramas rarely break away from the norms, and the fact that they started it out that is a big sign on what's to come
even if the characters change, I doubt this writer can write anything solid with the development and real purpose

everyone can see my review is on ep1, so just like I can't assume about the rest of the 15eps, people also will know not to assume I see the future and take my review to heart

actually MDL reviews have the option to point out that I've dropped this AND at which ep so I am "allowed" to write my thoughts here ;D
I've been using MDL for 6 years, I know my rules, I suggest you don't tell others what to do and leave people who want to vent and warn others in peace~

noow, if my prediction of this being totally repetitive with nothing new to offer turns out to be wrong then by all means I'll delete my review.
otherwise my review is valid for the people who are skeptical and want to read all opinions before starting

regardless of romance he's always type casted now as that sort of "childish" type. 5 year gap is still big, it's like how rowon is being type casted in noona romances now, or lee min ki with his cold expressionless neat freak type. they need to move on

these things needed to be checked before hand, if they thought the writer was "unfit" they shouldn't have hired him, more or less they should hire some of those detective historical info knetz to keep their things right


there's no need to "ban" this when they can just edit and fix things up, anything happens in korea, they fire people and ban things without really trying to fix the issues

lol I love that comparison xD it's like they atleast need to give us time to forget the taste, but they're feeding it to us launch and dinner 24/7 ;(

I've suffered through Sunbae Lipstick's horrible repetition with zero plot worth, I won't suffer here!! why do they keep making the same story with the same cast over and over and over again ;/

I got a response on insta saying " they're spreading chinese propaganda" and the writer is sponsored by china. like there's no real evidence, just cuz they showed the border of korea they're making it into such a twisted thing. like no one would dare to do that so openly, it makes no sense

and it's not like they're saying korea is china, or korea was china, it just showed korea was always next to chine, but with that response I get how the productions listen, cuz those people are crazy

that is somewhat true, atleast they weren't ill fated (that seems the SML's thing xD)
I would also add 99.999999% of the time it's unnecessary xD

I think it's like any other drama with a past connection, 99% of the time the writers don't want to build up a relationship from scratch and even though indeed the ml didn't "act" on his sudden interest, I still wish they worked together without that past connection

the writing was empty and flat, like legit nothing happens and their only conflict was that her ex cheated on her and the ml was 2 years younger
then they added the side characters and their unnecessary plot lines to drag it

but the romance and their bonding was cute

I like this cast alot~

I'd also be begging xD but yeah, they should like delete rating dependence and knetz sns accounts xD
