well it's not a simple happy vs sad, it's more of a realistic ending ;)

I liked ep3 more than the previous ones. for one thing I really like the fl, usually they'd use the age gap to make the girl pure and innocent, but she's a literal sociopath (they said so themselves), and the guy seems more naive than her but she doesn't boss him around/bully him, so I'm anticipating the romance.
I'm guessing their age gap is 9 years(?) and we'd get another 5 year time jump?

they should really stop having flashbacks though, or waste time on the "bad" guys...

I'm assuming there's another time jump. she was born in 1997, so in 2020 she'd be 23

9 out of 10 tvN dramas are always awesome~ my favorite is Mr Sunshine, but Live, Prison Playbook and even Circle are all great~
I need to watch Designated Survivor: 60 Days soon though ;)

my biggest problem is the useless side characters and their screentime, I'm skipping everything and just watch the 2 main's scenes..

I usually find myself complaining alot about how most female actresses are kinda "forced" to act out a younger clueless sometimes lost character just for the fact that they are "immature and young"...
but Seo Hyun Jin acted out that "innocence" so well, it was all in her tone and mannerism, like the way she'd double tuck her hair behind her ear when she gets flustered, or her pure sweet smiles~
I'd have honestly believed she was in her early 20s with that natural acting~ but the fact that she was 29 kinda highlighted her background and her characters personality so well. she was slightly timid, she didn't know much about how the other side of job hunting looked like... anyway, I thought she did a great job ;)

beautiful heartwarming story! when she called him dad and back hugged him I really started ugly sobbing TT___TT

I don't know what I'm happiest about.
is it because this is an actual intense thriller drama? or is it for Jang Hyuk dark mysterious perfectly acted character? or the fact that their women are actually people! honestly it makes me so happy whenever Hwang Hwa Young listens to Cha Su Young, or when Cha Su Young doesn't shut up and apologize when her male sunbaes tell her to stop interrupting!
I'm calling this the best starting eps of feb dramas, and I'll even call it one of the best 2020 dramas!

it was "better", but I'm keeping my hopes for next week xD

for one, a normal female lead! she's not randomly strong or bitter or dumb or bossy, she's "normal", beside her photographic memory ;p
I also like the other fl.. for some reason, fl's like her would usually just be mean and rude to be considered cold and superior, but she's cool and I like how she's not randomly mean to the fl xD
I kinda hate that those are my 1st two points about this drama, but dramaworld has to change alot on that aspect, I will not be talking about american dramas and their obsession with bitter hateful women :)
jung hyuk is as awesome as always, also that evil laughter was awesome xD

YEEESSS! now this is what I'm talking about! it gives me signal/tunnel/voice s1 feels! I think those were the last and only eerie suspenseful thriller mysteries I've seen in kdramaworld, and this really fits with them~

the first ep was a 1/10 but the second ep was a 7/10.. there were two well acted scenes that helped me through this, next week we'll finally see the team, so I hope they focus on them more...

the whole ep was a snooze fest, and just beyond ridiculous.. I mean they took every cliche traumatized male lead's past story out there and wasted 1 hour and 12 min on it ;/
also, I hate a long drama that uses recaps, it's like, if I were to forget what happened 30mins ago, it because you are wasting time on useless fillers.. all the running and walking and filler side characters talking..
I had to use x2 in the freaking 1st ep... that's a horrible sign.. I did enjoy the fl's 2 min screentime though..
I still have hope for the present story, but it better start in the next ep..

they did this before with a jisoo drama too but as far as I remember they had a non dubbed option as well

I'm glad they added another murder, especially since we don't "know" who it is this time~ I think it's Eugene..

I like how this drama has female characters that are normal people. no one is driven to do anything in the name of "love". Hye Joon stands up for herself if she can, and when she can't do anything it's more because of her newbie position and not because she's a "woman" and Yi Hun is capable just because he is a "man"..
also Ma Ri is a smart capable reporter and I like her alot. and even though they have the typical poor cousin taken in by the aunt/uncle thing, they don't randomly want to make her life miserable..
I also like the added mystery~
