I trust this! agh, I hope I don't go through a "I love this too much I don't want to watch the ending so it doesn't ruin it" phase again....

if I put my love for HDL aside I would say this is my favorite drama of the year!!!!!
and I don't know why, but this drama makes me cry? it's not sad, and a part of it is because it's super funny, but there's something here, I don't know, human warmth? that sounds weird :) like, the way they look at each other (Jin Joo and Beom Soo especially!) and the way they talk, there's this hint of realness, and I just adore that :)


adding to my original rambling, I just love how we see the gradual emotions? like falling in love, falling out of love, loving someone you can't love, and not moving away from your love?
for example, Chu Jae Hoon saying "you're cute" in a under his breath? that was so sad! or Jin Joo x Beom Soo teasing! who knew a writer and a director coupling would be this adorably hilarious xD

whatever they have in store I hope it's not "amnesia" as someone mentioned before xD

ok, it's been a week and I forget to mention it, but didn't Seo Hee say to Chan Sung "are you related to Man Wol's past", and he said "no" and she was like "how odd, why did they choose you to connect them".. then there was a long silence..
so since we are done with the Chung Myung story, and we have 2 more eps, I think they might pull a "Chan Sung met Man Wol in the past"... with a little of Seon Bi and Hyun Joong's stories?

I hope though we get a full ep of happy Chan Sung and Man Wol, atleast half an ep? ;)

this is exactly my type stories~ in some sense it might be a little too silly and comedic, but the movie never took itself too seriously, and the comedy sense was perfect for me~ (that camera guy scene was super ridiculous and hilarious ;p)

I want to call this a solid 7, no real plot and no deep characters, though it had a few 10 deserving moments, and kang joon alone deserves a 1000 ;)
his eyes were really the best part ;)
and his fight scenes were great, also his lips ;) I personally shipped him with Tae Joo, while I shipped Soo Yeon with my srs Hong Jae Shik, I think both delulu coupling were so "different" that they balanced each other ;p

is it a spoiler for s2? like have we seen him? I kinda want to doubt Hwang Sun Oh's manager/secretary guy ;)

so she's not his daughter? then would it be Kang Joon Ho or Kang Kyung Hoon? that other guy did say either the mom didn't know, or she tried to hide it :)

totally same! and that explanation on the "on hold" hit too close to home xD I have dramas from 2013 that I feel like I'll like to repick up, but then new dramas drop by the second xD

I LOVE cruel city! I'm currently rewatching it~ my "dropped but ended up loving" was prison playbook, I dropped it before the 1st ep ended and only picked it up after a year after the huge praise it got, and I loved it xD
though I have 1 or 2 dramas here and there that I do pick up again before it ends ;)

I'm still team "too shy bowlcut" guy, he has THE cutest smile, though it's a little burdensome ;) I prefer him over "thinks he's better than everyone and he secretly thinks everyone should just love him and owe him for being around them" guy ;/

it's like when the finally got some courage actual ml does something, we have the 2nd dude who wants a claim?
after going after his friend's crush? like sure ml (though incredibly cute with his shyness) took his sweet 4 years to finally say something, but it's still better than 2nd guy who's stringing this new poor girl??? lol melodramatic much??

I think people like the real ml (though incredibly cute with his shyness) could be frustrating and intimidating? like dude has 4+ years of bottled up emotions and he wants to get it all out xD also, he could have 4+ years of fantasy he built around how jojo is like, and he could end up disappointed....
either way though, I just remembered 2nd guy's victim mentality, and I still prefer 1st guy ;)


also, KSH is better than this... they give her THE model poor suffering everyone-hates-her character, and she still made her bearable... though there were a few scene I felt like she was gonna slap and punch some people, but she held it in because the writers want jojo to be "fragile"...

also, that long bowlcut dude is definitely the anti love alarm guy (though I thought he was dead?), so I wonder who made the love alarm?

maybe I've been disappointed by alot of dramas before, especially with endings, but sometimes they can overmix genres and make things too "emptily" complicated.. and eventhough they started it with "This is not a romance, it is a journey." it could also be empty "promotion".. and they might lose it while they go on, since it's only been 6eps...

I know all 4 main actors and some of the supporting ones, and I really love Kim Se Jung she's the biggest reason out of those 4 ;)

anyway, being back to this point again, I think I'll give it 2 more eps and I might put it on hold until it ends so I can be more "sure" of how things would develop...

for me I love analyzing age gaps, and when it's done well, like they won't make the fl super naive while the ml is super mean and bossy, then it's not an issue.. and I highly trust Lee Sun Bin's acting~

overall nice 1st ep with a potential of becoming one of my favs~ I love shows like this ;)

the most beautiful thing about this drama is that it captivates me.. I cry easily, even for boring dramas, but a drama that makes me hold my breath and get in tuned with the characters emotions? now that's amazing~ both iu and jingoo are one in a million, and for both to be in one drama is like one in a billion?

I guess the most unexpected ending would be to finish the drama before the ep count is fulfilled? xD like what will they do now?!
I thought they'd take some time showing us the staff's past story, but like, manweol's 1300 year grudge/misunderstanding is over?
maybe I'm a little disappointed that even the princess was not "bad" but "forced to be bad"?

I am actually so happy they played us with the "manweol thinks chansung is chungmyeon" thing I did still enjoy "evil crazy revengeful" manweol.... like it was great because I knew it wasn't true, but even if the drama ended without it I would've probably wished for it to happen just to see her reaction? that heartbreaking moment that she ran and stabbed chansung was so powerful! and then the fact that she realized she couldn't do it? that was also powerful! but then she had to scheme and be fully evil? that was just so powerful!

Seo Hee's story and her acting broke my heart!! THEN seeing the whole Chung Myung's death and the way the music stopped was just wow.... and! eventhough it was too easily done, but Chung Myung possessed Chan Sung! that was a chilling moment!

I don't think he has bad intentions, but that was a great scene~

omgomgomgomgomg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first of all, this ep was HEARTBREAKING! eventhough the 1st part was not "original" or shocking that was really greatly done TT_TT
then the other part started and it literally took my breath away... but then THAT ending happens!!!!!! they are really doing a great job with the "wrapping up", I'm so excited to see how everything would turn out.....
