this is actually really hilarious and silly... and that last scene made this drop easier (though I promised myself I'd stop dropping stuff)... a sad fl that's "hurt" and insulted by "rich" people and the guy that swoops in to "save" her, yuck....
it has the exact formula as almost every other show, the rude narcissistic male lead and unlucky "pure yet proud" traumatized female lead and their random "fate" that pushes the fl to "stand up" to the guy no one ever went against, and the "random murder mystery" the writers love to throw in all the time, they just added the "sell your soul to the devil" to make it "new"...

the music part is kinda similar to entertainer and even a little like missing 9 with the "stolen" music and the sad truth behind it... lol, what are they gonna do? make Ha Rip try and restore his own pride and music while he helps the girl he's in love with succeed too ;/


"I've been unlucky since I was born", "you threaten me one second then be polite the next". aren't they sick of making the same story with a tiny tweak every time.....


I'll just search for the ost once this done because that was the only good point...

I prefer the romance to not be the focus, but I ship them so hard! they are both so squishy ;)

also that last scene when Hye Mi was silently crying but her grandpa could hear her, so he was silently crying, I lost it TT_TT

that scene with the 2nd guy killing those guys for main guy was the past right? also, does main guy know 2nd is involved in his brother's death? is 2nd guy involved in the brother's death? ^^;

this actually got better by ep8, but I'm still confused about somethings ;)

also, 90% of the reason I'm still here is the interesting female lead~

Beom Jin is the real "psychopath", he's so calm and calculation, not a "pretends to be nice" kind of a way, but like a real scary leader kind, it's really chilling!

awesome episode!!! it really had me "at the edge of my seat" holding my breath! I LOVE this ;)

yeah it is my interpretation, I didn't say she's a full on diagnosed bipolar, but it's like every other show when the girl is a unfortunate yet still bright and positive... I had more "situations" that made that line perfectly true but I didn't want to write it all before ;p


like, the guy was just dancing and he didn't touch her yet, but she was still yelling at him to "stay away", and the whole scene bugged me. making him "accidentally" touch her so she can punch him..
then there was her 1st scene where she slips. and adding the weird asking about her bleeding nose every time.
the "did he bug my brain or is he my fate"... that itself is the positive mindset vr the pessimistic representation ;)

and I'm so over traumatic female characters, that too is my new personal petpeeve...

I don't see anything on Lee Kyung in the synopsis, but I assume the "hit songs" Ha Rip thought he wrote were "stolen" from people like Lee Kyung and those, insert in the "forced fate between them"...

I don't like "in your face" comedies. like "we added some funny sound track so you have to laugh now" kind of a thing ;p

Heo Min Ki is the goofy skinny nerdy type, but he's kinda cute, he grew on me xD

I really hope "2nd" guy is not another obsessive jealous type ;/

another annoying "eccentric" female lead... agh. her "introduction" was that she's optimistic one second and pessimistic the next... ie a bipolar with a dash of a traumatic past, just the way writers like them ;/
does she really sing that song though? she has a really beautiful voice ❤

also, this has a weird balance, it's too serious but too comedic, and it was kinda long, but still interesting ;)

Ahn Kil Kang usually plays the goofy ahjussi, I really liked the change here I'm sad he's gone..

another annoying 2nd lead... can guys stop "claiming" girls that clearly friend zoned them? ;/

that's cool, sometimes if it doesn't click it just doesn't click~ I hope I'm not wrong for not dropping? ie, I hope this keeps improving ;p

this is like the underdog kdrama, and since most of the cast and characters are different it makes everything more interesting~
I feel a little bantering siblings vibe between the 2 main leads, which is nice, I hope they won't add romance...

also, I'm glad this weeks ending scene was a lighthearted hilarious cf for UDC xD

I kinda agree with you, I enjoy COL more, but I really really liked ep6 of this, it feels like the previous eps were fillers, and the real story just began ;)

ok by the 2nd half of ep6 I see the potential... it seems more complicated than I thought and I highly approve of that... I hope I'm right that this will get "messy"...

also, I'm in love with kangjoon's eyes in the 2nd half!! I mean, I love the acting! I always loved his eye acting, but this was so INTENSE! I got chills and I love him.. his intense gaze...

I want a second season!! why is it hard for writers to give us a full on full relationship drama? I just want to know what happens to my favorite couples after a drama ends, you know??


this should've been named "beautiful women" because I just loved how beautifully diverse they all were and I just loved going through this with them...

this show really just breaks my heart with their cases...

it keeps getting more interesting~ kinda like sky castle...
