in the end he reminded me of baek inho ;(
the man with the mask! he sounds exactly like Lee Sun Kyun, and the way he talks too... I've never heard any other actor speak like him, his voice is as unique as Jang Hyuk......
but the part of his face they showed didn't look like him... (maybe I just miss My Ahjussi too much ;p)
I always wondered if a drama could pull off a cain heel from skip beat... and this drama has the potential....
last week I had 4 eps since I missed the week before it, and I got too used to watching it daily T^T
I was resisting Hui Seong, but that was just a moot point ^^;
the 5 main leads are definitely joining my favorite characters list and I never had that happen with a single drama before...
it feels too staged? everyone is just acting through it, they don't feel "real"...
and I know I'm being too nitpicky, but why is WWWSK in the recommendations, almost all dramas have the chaebol with the dramatic past and childhood connection, I just would not recommend this to people who liked WWWSk... that had a grownup vibe, this is too childish...
here, the guy already chose a different path, he didn't stay for too long, now he has to live with the aftermath...
which I find more interesting, because we always get a "what if", but we never see how that "what if" could go wrong, or how the actual present is the real blessing...
for GBC, this would be a "what if" the main couple chose the second leads instead.. what would've happened? I'm actually interested in that view point...
this is like a fantasy healing drama...
Joo Hyuk kinda liked to blame others for his bad marriage, but now that he is seeing a different path for his wife too, he can realize his mistakes and grow up..
this is kinda like a historical My Mister or Misaeng, basically it's a slice of life historical, and it has a great balance between the character development and the plot.
by now I'm so glad that it has 24 eps. all slice of life dramas should follow that...
I didn't like Eugene at first, he was too stiff? but it all changed as they started to show more of his character, he's a little rough around the edges but he's sweet, awkward and loyal...
and I love Dong Mae, he is too cute!! in ep10 I couldn't help but rewatch that scene over and over.. I find his character more interesting than Eugene, but all characters have their own charms..
I also like Kudo Hina, she's interesting, I just hope they won't let her be yet another jealous 2nd lead..
the fool, the moron and the loser! lol ;p
and I love so bong, she is so supportive and understanding, yet she doesn't lose her own self worth and identity.
I kinda put this on hold because I didn't want it to end, but that was a mistake, I NEED to catch up by tomorrow, lol ^^;
here, Woo Jin keeps talking and Joo Hyuk never listens or says anything, so she screams louder until Joo Hyuk just snapped...
anyway, from asainwiki's synopsis, I assume that this will continue in the present day after Joo Hyuk made his "choice". especially since he only got two 500 coins from that weird guy...
so that sounds interesting..
on a side note, jisung's character reminds me of kmhm's yoona ;p
this kinda explains the story, though it's not subbed but basically the drama has 3 timelines. 2015, 2016 and 2017 (before, during and after dating) but they were mixed in together...
she was not a fighter, she's a tiny gentle precious being, yet her eyes were blazing!! and I love that she slapped hui jae!!
also, later on instead of crying or running away, she went to stand next to namoo (again, it wasn't like the usual "I will just die to protect the strong guy that I love" thing most female leads do...) she "stood" next to him, it was like a "we are stronger together" thing... she's an amazing female lead T^T
