His comedic sense is supposed to be "awkward". He likes to look cool and mysterious but dealing with ghosts gets him in unusual situations. So some might feel like he's not a natural comedian but he's not supposed to be one. And it does work out well here
This drama moved in steps. Amnesia, cohabitation, fake relationship, evil past girlfriend, revenge, misunderstandings, revelation and redemption with a final touch of sweetness♡
