I would say the usual envy, jealousy, insecurities humans with these traits doesn't really function on common sense and logic. He can't accept that ZL who comes from nothing is almost at the same level as him cause he has "worked" for it his whole life.
Also the fact that FTY chose ZL is sending that looser even more against ZL.

I think it was when FTY "died" she singed some document and got sent to that town the scene was very short but they say she should go there in it. I just checked the scene is in episode 4 around 12:20.

It's not only the threats he want to marry her properly and honorable with her family's approval and everything above board to the outside world so they don't gossip about her(it's just how the world worked back then). He talks about it with her family in episode 21 preview.
Great episodes today also finally back in the capital, looking forward to what is going to happen from now on. I guess they will pull the usual 1 episode a day from tomorrow which is going to be torture.

The main couple is everything they remind me of shen wan and yan chi with how everything is just equal between them and they always talk about everything(so far). It is so enjoyable to watch couples like this.

Finished, and I loved every second of it! I loved the style of this drama a lot. The angst and tension were at an all-time high—my god. The chemistry between SWL and ZJY is INSANE. They have so much tension between them, and when they are together, it feels so natural you can literally feel that they are in love.
Another thing I loved about this drama is that the FL is the main initiator of the romance and intimate moments. That is a rather rare thing in drama land, and it is always welcome when the FL gives as much as or more than the ML, as it's usually the other way around.

Well the only time it is mentioned is when Cen Ye says it other then that we know nothing, not the duration, how close they were or anything. They could easily just not have mentioned it at all in the show cause it's pretty irrelevant either way imo.

There will probably be a lot in the last episodes, there are multiple scenes from clips and bts that has not happened yet for example. Don't know if it will start in 27 or after the fire in 28 though.
It was nice that they didn't turn that scene into some jealousy when MJ walked in on TuLi on the couch. I loved MJ sending the 2ML packing after Chen Yi asked him to stay for dinner that was satisfying.
Also the hotpot scene was nicely done and Xiaobao is really cute with his "family" talk. I am guessing the broken heart on the calendar for ep26 will be her mom dying or something?

Yeah considering the shit that happened when she was just a kid i thought she would be a bit more messed up or they would at least show the impact it had on her but the drama is not doing a good job at that tbh.
