It's almost silly how obvious it is that they just wanted to make a turn off your brain-action movie, that goes perfectly with some beers - and really pulled it off with some if the craziest/best action scenes I've seen for a while. Of course the "expert critics" on MDL are analyzing it like it's trying to be the next Shakespeare masterpiece. Classic MDL. Im always up for a kdrama with a crazy innovative plot (just like death game the other day) , hope they can really pull this one of. The cast is amazing but the writer having no track record kind of worries me.
It was great to see both Ahn Hyo Seop and Jeon Yeo Been in high school uniforms, this was probably the last time. The drama was very good and had a binge hook. Its kind of a bummer tho that the writer kind of got lost in his own writing in the second half, and made way too complicated for its own good. Other than that its all fine - a fun watch that I recommend!
What are some of you guys on lol, this drama was perfection from the first to last episode. And goddamn that bike scene out of nowhere... this whole drama is a big chefs kiss!
Great interview, when he mentioned New World it really hit me how korean movies have dropped in quality in general. It feels like its more or less impossible to find a REALLY good kmovie recently, we dont have to go that many years back when they pumped out masterpiece after masterpiece. Im obviously not saying that there are zero good movies in recent years but my impression is that you should feel happy if you get one 8+/10 (rating wise) movie from Korea... in a year... what a fall from grace. 😢
15 eps in, has this drama been solid throughout the whole run? With the feelgood and good storyline, i just watched the 3 first eps and liked it. Worth going back to ( Iguess it is) looking at the rating here. Just a positive comment!
With this story and these actors, this should have been much better, powerful and touching, very disappointing. The writer sucks. You will understand me if you watch it...
It was not bad for a buildup of many characters for the epic conclusion in season 3. Think the classic movie pattern the beginning (S1) - the middle part (S2) and the ending (S3). People expected another season 1 but how where they going to do that? If you think about all the work that they must have put into this season, at this huge scale, its insane. I really liked it and i think its underrated.
Our dear Yeon Sang Ho gets another try at a sci-fi horror/thriller, I am worried. If this one flops too I wonder if they will keep giving him big budgets..
