I feel like this one is getting a lot of hate when it's actually not that bad ? Sure not the most interesting piece ever written, with actors that seemed new to their own characters sometimes but I actually managed to finish in almost two go. Have to say the Second couple syndrome went hard on that one, I'm sorry to say they were far more interesting than the main one (coming from someone who prefer BY FAR enemies to lovers than Childhood friends to lovers. I feel like they have some potential as a pair and their chemistry was not bad at all!

So overall, sure it's not the best BL here but I think its mainly because Taiwan made us used to absolute masterpieces haha

Wow on behalf of all of us, avid fans of this incredible drama, thank you for your deep thoughts! I really enjoyed reading it because it perfectly captured the way I portrayed their dynamic, as ambiguous their actions can be. Let's not forget they are both very (if not extremely) morally gray (if not red lmao) with dubious consensual intentions. I think we are so drawn to their characters because they are so incredibly flawed : one started by only wanting S$x (and violent nature) whereas the other one as cute and sympathetic as he can be is a huge manipulator haha (he got him wrapped around his finger). So it's very interesting to see those two "negative" actually becoming "positive" for eachother, when it's definitely not something we are used to in dramas. It's usually either one bad guy destroying the innocent, or both become toxic for each other. But here it's the opposite: they start extremely toxic in their intentions and behaviours towards one another, but to our suprise it actually managed to work.

You could say the red flags are softening their colours, and they are becoming "better" (though still terrible imperfect) persons haha
