The chemistry between Kim Jung Hyun and Cha Jung Woo is woefully lacking. There's a lot of angst but not much else. There's very little in the way of affection. They barely even touch each other much less hug and their one kiss scene was a cut away shot so we didn't see it. Are we supposed to believe that they have been in an loving relationship for how long? What is their relationship anyway? It's anyone's guess. In one scene there's talk about possibly breaking up but were they ever together?
The whole conflict hinges on Cha Jung Woo being blocked by industry players from publishing under his own name. I still don't get why he doesn't just use a pen name as was suggested. Is there a stigma associated with pen names in South Korea or something?I don't get what the big deal is.
I guess the one saving grace is the chemistry between Cha Jung Woo and Han Tae Young. The preview for episode 5 confirms that they will have actual physical contact. For people worried about Jung Woo cheating. It's not cheating. What he has with Jung Hyun is a bromance at best. What Tae Young is offering is an actual romance. Let the boy live.
