Plotwise it's okay but I find it very hard understanding CJW. What's the the big deal with publishing under a pen name? Writers the world over who have good reputations publish under pen names no problem much less writers like himself who because of circumstances need to hide their identities. I don't get his stubbornness on this point. Then again it fits with his general personality.
While HTY's motives are obvious and dare I say pure, KJH's motives are not so clear.
One thing that really annoys me so far is the cutting away for the kiss scenes. I don't mind a BL with no kissing. In fact there are great BLs with little or no kissing at all. But cutting away just before lips meet and leaving the audience to accept that the kiss happened is trash. A better alternative would be to have an embrace. Some viewers would still throw a hissy fit over it but I'd be happy with a nice meaningful hug instead of that travesty. Or maybe I'm getting ahead of myself and the kiss didn't happen after all. Because it may as well not have.
