For some reason C-dramas always turned me off. Idk why. After I watched the bad kids I started to appreciate c-dramas more. That show left me wanting more and I found joy of life. Yea. I agree. The girl friend of the kid was so annoying I was almost ready to drop the show because of her. Her mom is a weird annoying character too, cringed every time she was in the scene.
IMO, the first half was kind of boring and I didn't like any of the characters expect the dead dad. But then after the second half when they started to dwell deeper into the Uncles story the show began to grow on me.
I really enjoyed how they got to know every dead persons story. Although all of the cases in a big and small way helped the uncle and son develop and overcome their problems I felt like most of the cases were very bland and I felt like skipping a lot of the scenes surrounding them.
Overall there is a lot of things they could of done better like structuring the plot line better but in the end it was a good watch.
I dont know about the highest rating show on MDL tbh it was good but no where as great as some other dramas in the same category. I feel like 9.1 is far too high I would give it a 7.8.

But I think a person has to be really really really new to the "horror" or "monster/supernatural" genre to think this show is even slightly scary or even suspenseful. There are dramas without blood and crazy violence that were 100 times more thrilling than this.
While watching It just felt like a Hollywood action film no substances just cool eye candy and good production.
Loved it. I can see why some individuals disliked the ML's foolish demeanor but I believe that it was necessary for this story. Seeing his growth from a purely foolish whiny individual to a mature leader was satisfying to see. Although he can be seen as a weak individual due to his lack of sword skills and violent behavior I believe that in the end, due to his spirit, he was the strongest character in this whole drama.
One of the best dramas I've seen. No stupid draggy parts. No useless romance or other garbage filler. It shoots straight like an arrow piercing through all bullshit. The story is so potent with emotional/psychological lessons that you don't want to skip any second of it. Sakurai Sho's acting is remarkable, truly a legendary performance. 10/10
could of been a great drama. started out great with a hopeful future but then around episode 5 it started falling drastically. It could of been cut down to either 8-10 episodes. The ML was cool until he started "dating" the FL (shes terrible imo) 90 percent of her decisions and logic in this drama are so absurd and stupid. The past link between them was so weak that I didn't care about their relationship, at all. I loved the violent/dark side of the ML and was always rooting for him to start his own clan. Don't even get me started about that ending... Overall it was decent but leaning on the bad side. I would give it a 6.5

All the characters so far are enjoyable and I'm not dissatisfied with any of the casting.
