Episode 9!!! I usually wait and watch two episodes before commenting, but I genuinely couldnāt wait this time because I LOVED every single minute of it šš I was laughing out loud, especially during all the scenes where Su-bin was jealous. After all the rollercoaster weāve been through in the previous episodes, this episode felt so fresh and fun. I think this is the first time this drama actually had me laughing like that.
I loved every single moment between our ML and FL, and honestly, Su-bin being jealous was EVERYTHING š And can we talk about Lee Joo-han?? What do you mean heās such a good-person ex?! Heās literally an angel. I genuinely love him as a character, and the actor is doing such a great job. That scene where he asked her if she still loved her first loveā¦ he already knew the answer. He just needed to hear it from her himself. CUTIE PIE š
And I think this is the first time weāre seeing our male lead actually hurt someone because of his love. Since heās finally the male lead in this kind of drama the one who actually gets the girlāitās interesting seeing this side of him.
The second couple is still cute, and I donāt really have anything against him refusing to kiss her. Like, guys, this is literally their first time being together š Theyāre basically strangers who met while trying to find love. Meanwhile, our main couple already has history, so obviously their relationship is different.
For the third couple, I actually think she learned something from this whole situation. She thought being arrogant and always being āon topā would bring her happiness, but sheās slowly realizing that it doesnāt work that way. And when he said, āWhat about my feelings?ā he was RIGHT. But she also needs to figure out her own feelings instead of expecting him to do it for her. So hopefully, lesson learned!
And THAT LAST SCENE??? DAMN. š I knew there was something going on when he(the director) heard her at the door last episode. Like, sir, youāre her manager/director, WHY ARE YOU SPYING ON HER?! š And after everything, I feel so bad for those two siblings. But CEO Ahn? GO TO HELL. š
Anyway, I genuinely, genuinely loved this episode. Such a refreshing episode after all the emotional chaos.
Episode 6 was A LOT. Like, I couldnāt even focus on one thing because there were so many things happening š I know, I knowā¦ this is the side of weekend dramas.
First, our son. THIS CUTIE-PIE š He is genuinely the most mature person in this entire drama. Please stay like this until the end because I really donāt want to start hating you halfway through. And The Chairman? Father of the Year award, I donāt care š That man is actually doing what a dad should do, and I love him for it.
But the mom??? Girl, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! You literally said you couldnāt take your eldest because she was the eldest, and you couldnāt take your son because he was your first son and his dad didnāt want you to take him. Then you were like, āOkay, Iāll take the middle one,ā and she said, āI donāt want to go, Mom.ā THAT WAS IT?! š Like, you just left them all behind?! And if my husband cheated and got another woman pregnant, Iād be like, āIām taking MY children. Good luck with your new wife.ā š
And the second leadā¦ GIRL. 23 YEARS OF UNREQUITED LOVE. He KNOWS you love him. He just doesn't want YOU. He dated another woman right in front of you, and now youāre wondering why he never noticed you?? š Please stand up. That clingy-ass behavior is not it.
Episodes 7 & 8 were SO good. š There were definitely moments where I was like, ānah, this doesnāt make sense,ā but somehow everything started adding up.
First, the female lead. Guys, LEAVE THIS WOMAN ALONE. š She lost her parents and She only had her grandma, and she lost Jin-hwa 12 years ago, and she was basically like, āOkay, I have to get my shit together.ā so six years later, she got engaged to that manā¦ and guess what? HE WAS TRASH TOO. š Then after six years this cutie-pie came along, and heās such a green flag. He actually respects her and treats her right. I love him so much. š„¹
Her grandma annoyed me at first because it was giving āyou have to do what I say.ā š Like grandma, I understand youāre trying to protect her and the company, but FUCK THE COMPANY. Let this woman be happy. š But now that sheās supporting her no matter what, okay grandma, I see you.
And his grandma + him?? What a combo. I LOVE every scene they have together. Their communication and chemistry are everything.
Now the cousin iā¦ GIRL, WHY ARE YOU SO NOISY? š If you want the company, fight for it fairly! Why make this womanās life miserable? Honestly, Yeori, just touch her without the glove, say āHi, cousin, I love you,ā and give her a high five. š
Iām also starting to think the male lead fell for her because of the heart. One heart, two different bodiesā¦ okay, it sounds crazy, but it makes sense to me. š And I donāt really think theyāre twins. the mother clearly loved Jin-hwa, more than minhwa and she loved him enough to give him Jin-hwaās heart to the ml because she wanted him to live, even if it meant living in another body. Thereās definitely something deeper going on there.
And finally, the second male lead. BRO. In WHAT dimension do you get a girl by removing everything that makes her happy?! š āI ruined your happiness, so now youāll love me.ā WAKE UP. If you had actually stayed by her side six years ago, maybe she wouldāve chosen you. And the necklace?? I 100% think it works. He knows something about it, and thatās why he keeps trying to touch her hand. I also think people like him might not be able to see ghosts, even if they touch themāmaybe itās something specific to certain people, like whatever is going on with the male lead and jin hwa.Anyway, these two episodes were SO good. Everything had me going āNAH NAH NAHā at first, but eventually it started making sense. š I canāt believe we only have two weeks left. Iām gonna miss this drama so bad.
