Here we are AGAIN with a Korean artist committed suicide because of social media and news bullying. Will Korea ever wake up???? I loved her in Bloodhounds and her being pulled form the drama ruined it as far as I was concerned. May she rest in peace.
Although I did enjoy this drama, there were some plot holes or maybe I just missed the reveal for some things because there was so much going on 😭 The earring in the car? Who was in that barrel? I would have liked more info on what actually happened at Hope, how it started, how it closed how, how/why SJ's family adopted SH. It broke my heart that none of the 5 got a happy ending and I REALLY did not like the fact that Baek got to kill YJ. He should have had a worse ending and didn't deserve his revenge. I thought the cast was great and the acting spot on for Taec Yean and Park Ji Bin (he was so much fun to watch). Overall, it's a good binge👍🍿
I hated the ML in this and I find it disturbing that so many people think he's great. He's a manipulative narcissist and he's not capable of caring for anyone.
My husband wanted to watch a k-drama with me, so I gave him some options for dramas I thought he would like - he picked "Are You Human, Too?" Of course, that reminded me of how much I love SKJ and hadn't seen him in anything lately (where are you, SKJ? 😭). Anyway, I was feeling nostalgic for SKJ so I started watching this drama again (my fourth time). Halfway through the 2nd episode and I'm remembering why I love this drama so much. It's just so calming and heart-warming; it shows how everyone is struggling with their own issues on the inside no matter how they look on the outside. It just reminds me to be kind to people. It's very well written IMO and both leads give understated but powerful performances, especially SKJ. He really needs to do more dramas! 😉 It's a slow burn, but well worth it. 👍👍🙌♥️
This drama was a 10 until the last 10 minutes of the last episode ended in an utterly boring and unnecessary "scary" tropes. Up until then, I'd found it quite poingent and meaningful.
I thought the premise of this drama was really interesting. It was a departure from many dramas in which people from non-traditional families are rejected by society. I thought the plot could have been developed more regarding how they struggled with changing roles as the kids grew up. For me, the best and most poingent scenes were the ones between Kang Hae Jun and Yun Jeong Jae. Their feelings for each other as parent/child were very moving and proves there doesn't have to be a biological connection to define family.
Other than being able to guess the husband would likely cheat with FL's sis (not real sis) on the first episode…
I was down in the dark, too, with my wrong predictions. I thought the presidential candidate was the father of the neighbor's son, he was trying to kill the some to get them out of the way, and he got the wrong kid.😳🤣
This started off so slowly I wasn't sure I'd be able to stick with it...but I kept watching for Eun Woo and wound up being completely sucked into this story. There are too many flashbacks and a completely unnecessary side story with one of the characters, but I wound up really enjoying this drama. I think it's actually one of the best I've seen all year. I'm not giving anything away, but if you stick with it through the first few episodes, you'll be pleasantly surprised. And no, there is no romance between the ML and FL - thank God for that!!!
idk what are in korean heads but this so sick plot 🤦🏾♂️ the main heroine who is a victim after her…
She told him to get out of her life and gave him divorce papers. You seriously think he wouldn't see another woman? Why do you expect any man to remain faithful under those circumstances? They were broken up. It's not cheating.
OMG...the comments from people who wanted romance between the MC! She is literally old enough to be his mother...that's too much of an age gap for me! 🤢 Also, any woman who thinks a man is going to stay faithful to you after you give him divorce papers is being naive.
This started strong but I could barely get through the last couple of episodes because they were so boring. Just a mediocre drama which is a bit of a disappointment because it has such a great cast.
