Heartbreaking but beautiful. Good acting by all of the cast.

He plays his role brilliantly but I'd say go into this drama with a heavy heart. I personally was not able to finish this drama because the plot really drags on. If you don't mind going all through that then give it go. If you're not into melodramas, then I wouldn't recommend it.

I watched a few episodes but stopped because it was too heartbreaking for me. Could anyone tell me if this has a happy ending?

I went into this drama based on a youtube video I saw back in March 2020. Going into I honestly didn't think I would end crying up so much. I was totally consumed by this drama. It is the Chinese drama that made me start to watch other c-dramas. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Part like that really annoyed me as well but the drama over all is really good.

A really sweet and heartwarming drama. The acting and chemistry between the leads was awesome. But be warned if you hate love triangles like me because unfortunately this drama revolves around it. It is a really lovely drama but I would recommend you skip a lot. I enjoyed getting to know these actors. Now I'm curious about their other works ^^

Just watched episode 5, it was so hilarious. I just love the chemistry they all have together.

I remember watching 'The Boy Next Door' back in 2017. It's hilarious. The acting by the both of them is really good.

Their chemistry on the poster is off the charts! I've only seen two dramas by Xu Kai but in both of them I was so impressed by his acting, that I immediately became a fan. Unfortunately I still haven't been able to convince myself to watch a drama from ( what I've heard is) legendary Yang Mi. However this drama may finally be able to change that (though I have seen a bit of her acting through a fmv).

I feel the same. After while I lost complete interest in the story and ultimately had force myself to complete this drama. Indeed, that writer is best avoided.

I agree. The cast and actors did an incredible job. The OST's were also one the best I've heard. Unfortunately the story was very lacking. I'm quite disappointed. It started so well in the beginning.

I am upset.I don't see the point why they had to kill Daeyeop. It was such a pointless death. After that I couldn't sit through the final episode. I skipped through it. I'm happy to see that my couple did get a happy ending though I would have liked it better if they had Cha Dol with them.

I think this drama would indeed have benefitted had been 16 instead of 20 episodes. The beginning episodes were so great and kept me engaged throughout the whole episode. However nearing the last episodes I just lost motivation to watch this drama.

The acting, directing and production plus the OST were fantastic. Just the plot execution neat the end was bad.
