It got stupid at ep 100 onward or whenever Solnan found out she was the king's daughter. Don't know why she would want to hide it and then continued to let her psychotic little sister run wild. P plus I wanted to see her as a princess rule. This has become a 8 score for me. Slow in the beginning, picked up in the middle then the pace slowed down again.
As for historical I would definitely recommend some older ones like Iljimae and Jumong or Warrior Baek Dong Soo…
I started The King's Daughter Soo Baek Hyang and it was a bit boring so i dropped it. Maybe i'll start it again. I have Battle of Changsha on my list. I'll add Warrior Baek Dong Soo. Thanks. I watched Queen InSoo recently and it was ok, it was fascinating to see how close the characters to history.
Ok the ending is not conclusive. What happened to Si Wan? I wanted to see him prosecuted and torn apart for what he did. Why did they end it without resolving all the crimes he has committed? Also why was someone trailing the Guardian group? It seems there's another plot coming out there. It just seems the drama is unfinished IMO. Also lots of plot holes that seems unrealistic but enjoyed the fight scenes
Am I the only one who wants to b-slap Duk shil? =) *Updated: Saw her on another drama, The Package (highly recommend…
I know right! I thought there would be some drama between Shiwol and the other daughter-in-law to see if someone will beat some sense into her. But she seems to have an upper hand on everyone. Min Jae's family was irritating in the beginning but they became funny as the drama moved along.
The currently airing My Country: The New Age is great.
Whoa! I have watched Stranger -pretty good! I've seen confession too. I will add Designated Survivor, The Guardians, Cross, and Solomon's perjury (i've always overlooked this particular one) to my list.
Yea Life was a bit boring so i dropped it. I watched Nirvana till the last 5 episodes and i dropped it. I hated that he would die and never got a chance to be with the princess. Maybe because i knew the ending. Oh well Thanks for the recommendations.
Very heartbreaking! I felt so bad for Insoo. She did everything she could. But mannn Song Yi was evil and she wrecked the royal family lineage with herself and her vicious son. Sorry to say but they should have deposed the young prince with her mother too. The killings he did was diabolic and evil. As i was watching, i kept saying yea he's definitely his mother's son - just evil!! And checking wikipedia for the historical fact was chilling to see that it actually happened.
I felt bad for all the characters, it was just a lot of political/power struggle. I don't envy royal families or powerful families, they all have their issues.

All the above genre except cheesy dramas. I enjoyed Sky Castle, SFD, Empress Ki, Eternal love (Chinese), Secret of the 3 kingdoms, Princess Wei young, Story of Minglan, Yanxi palace, Ruyi's royal love, Fiery priest, Life on Mars.. Lol I've listed a lot but I like thrilling, adventurous, revenge..etc.
Oh man! I'm at episode 35 and i'm already feeling sad that this drama gem will be over soon. Anyone get more recommendations for me? I've also seen Empress Ki - really good. Defendant, Doctor prisoner.
This drama is good, I wouldn't take any scenes away from the whole drama. It all comes together and the 51 episodes is all worth it. Now I don't know which drama to watch. I can't believe I passed over this drama for awhile
idk I'm at episode 5 and it's just your cliche revenge drama. Pretty boring not gonna lie.
Keep an open mind when you rewatch this drama. If i missed a bit, i rewind it so i can get the full scope again. It's fast spacing and the details in each scene are intriguing
