I genuinely never hated the ML as much as I do in this drama. The FL was not that great either but at least watching her didnt make my blood boil, haha. I think 5 episodes of this story was my limit.

I already said I am not talking about people talking about the drama's overall quality though. Even in my original comment I only adressed people that are being negative because of the relationship and I have never insinuated that's the only reason for negative comments. I have no idea why you insist on having one sided discussion about something I am not talking about?? Dal Mi and Do San had more chemistry than Dal Mi and Ji Pyung though? That relationship was never anything more than mentor/mentee and later friend from Dal Mi's side. And I am not talking about people discussing show quality over all, people are free to like or dislike it, I am specifically talking about people bashing it just because she picked the guy they didn't want, even though it was obvious this will happen since like episode 3.
How is he toxic? Or better yet, how is he any more toxic than Ji Pyung? Their relationship might have been build on a lie, but so would be her relationship with Ji Pyung. Dosan always treated her with respect and love and all he wanted was for her to suceeed and be happy. He might have not been the most mature person over all, but as far as his relationship with Dal Mi is concerned, except for the lie which most characters on the show were part of, he did nothing toxic toward her.
There is a lot of negative comments about the drama so I just wanted to say I loved it and it's the first drama in a while that actually made me laugh and clap at the same time couple of times. Definitely give it a shot, you can always drop it if it doesnt fit your taste.
I honestly don't get the negativity around who Dal Mi ended up with. Do San was perfect match for her, they work on the same wavelength, they uplifted each other and always pushed each other to do better. Even if you like Ji Pyung better, they just didnt match well? They were both very different people and they would clash if they ended up in a relationship.
So I decided to watch it after seeing the high ratings and so far it bores me so much. I am currently on episode 8 and I am seriously considering dropping it. Does it get more interesting later on? Will the main character actually get screen time? I need to know if it's just a slow beginning or if it's just not a drama for me.
I really love this show. Dark theme, bad people, bad choices... It made for an enjoyable show. I really hope this will have season 2 because that ending made me angry. Did somebody help them? Or took them? Did they get out on their own? I need answers.
