Great series, it trusts its viewers to be clever and patient enough to piece it all together. I'll have to watch it all again when the series ends for sure.
Finished ep 2 as well and I don't think it is that complicated, we have: Bunny Kelvin timeline when we see the start of their story that takes place over a long period of time Broken Kelvin timeline, we can figure that out from the look in his eyes and it is not that much of the story yet Chained timeline when the bunny caught a predator in his paws. I like it. Can't wait for next episode.
Just finished the first episode and it is so good. First time seeing a BL series with these types of characters and I love it, they aren't just your typical good or bad characters they are complex and I look forward to seeing the next episodes.
Oh let me know if you find it! I’m looking for it too.
Yesterday By Feng Nong found it on Novel Cool but apparently the author changed quite a bit . The book is from Fort's characters point of view while the series seems to be from Peat's character point of view. Enjoy it if you want to read it.
Ok. There are scenes that I enjoyed more in the Thai version and scenes that were better done in the Japanese version when it comes to the BL couple. I enjoy them both for different reasons but dislike Ai's outfits, they were better for Rak. As for the GL couple. In my opinion they really improved the secretary. To me, she was unbearable in the Thai version, a really exaggerated caricature of a manga character for too many scenes. Would really like to praise the Japanese actress for making that character likable. Still don't think they are a good fit as a couple but maybe that will change by the time the series ends.
I feel like the Thai locations were far more beautiful and the way the scenes were shot was better, the Japanese version has better sound, did a better job at hiding the mics and does not have those highly saturated colors that bothered me in the Thai version. I'll give it a chance and see if they do a good job with the rest of it compared to the book and the Thai version. Hoping for the best.
Hey :) where can I watch? I don't have Amazone USA. It is not available for Amazon Germany :(
It is on IQIYI if you want to watch the uncut version (with NC scenes) or on YouTube ( Memindy Official ) if you want to watch it for free but without the spicy scenes. Enjoy.
Adore the manga with the exception of that one scene, so far not really happy with the characters in the trailer. Takato is supposed to be 2 characters in 1, he has one side that he shows everyone and his true self. Junta as well, his true self is completely different from what he shows everyone. Of course it's really difficult to show that in just a trailer but they did not even hint at it... I'm hoping for the best.
He better be from a parallel world, if he is not then no, absolutely not. I don't care if he is handsome, there is a line and he crossed that line if he is not from a parallel world. He is manipulating someone innocent, him knowing the passcode to his door and phone number is creepy. He pushes Phu so much, even if he was from a parallel world he could make him fall in love slowly. Jin is a good friend, unfortunately he had so little screen time this episode. Still hoping they will give him more time since he is still the character I'm most interested in. Hoping for the best for the next episode.
The cinematography is beautiful but the sound is bad, there are at least 3 scenes where you can hear the actors breathing into their mics, the background music is too loud, in some scenes as loud as the characters speaking and it is irritating in my opinion. Acting is ok for some but bad for a couple actors in my opinion but maybe that will improve as the series progresses. Mostly interested in Jin at this point, wondering what is his story ( no spoilers please ) and hoping he will get a lot of screen time but it is just the first episode, maybe by the time it ends I will like all the characters.
I feel like Muk makes very little sense as a character in Mut and Rak's story. - she knows Rak spends nights with men, talks casually with Rak about it but it is suddenly a problem when he tries to do that with Mut - when Rak brings Mut home she is oh so worried for Rak, wants Mut to take a test to show he is heathy. Neither Muk or Rak know how to read such a test. She knew Rak was spending nights with men for years to get inspiration for all of his books, she was never worried enough when he slept with random men but suddenly she is worried - she translates Rak's books for years, every book contains very explicit NC scenes that reflect Rak's nights out with men, she has no problem translating them. She also spends a lot of time with Rak and his friend who don't shy away from talking ,,dirty,, but suddenly she has a problem with the way Rak and Mut talk when she should be jaded by now. - she has a problem buying underwear for Mut because he is a guy, it is a really big deal but she has no problem buying it for Rak for years. - Mut says he figured out on the island that Rak can't eat spicy food but later Mut says he knows Rak can't eat spicy food because Muk told him so. Seems like the author forgot Mut already figured it out before he met Muk. - Muk has a very hard time completing all the tasks for Rak when he is on the island. She does not even need to take care his personal needs but she is overwhelmed, incredibly overworked. When Rak returns, she should have more work to do since he needs to catch up on his work, she needs to help him with his personal needs but that stops. She has all the time in the world to help Vi, she more or less switches to Vi's assistant without ever becoming a problem for Rak's work. I read a lot of manga and books, watch a lot of series and movies and out of all the characters in all of those she makes the least amount of sense and is the worst character I've read/seen. Add to that the fact that she is less mature than the child when Muk looks to be in her mid 20s or older, she keeps screaming, whining, throwing a fit and bothering Rak on the island with her personal issues when she thinks he is working. The actress had really bad luck with this character, she deserved better than this rushed mess. Sorry for the rant if anyone bothered reading this.
The scene with Kai's ex was good, Kai looked like a broken doll. The notebook scene was very well done as well in my opinion, even the NC scene was good. Fuma is in my opinion a sweeter version of P'Pai, he adores Kai and it's just so cute. I adore both Sky and Kai, the Japanese version would be a lot better if it had 10 more minutes each episode but it can't be helped. Even gave us some Rei and Kai scenes. My favorite episode so far, good job Suzuki Asahi and Nagatsuma Reo.
