Just started watching the 1st episode today. Its a good start. But im going to wait until the drama finish airing so that i can binge watching this in 1@ 2 days lol. Just a little comment: The synopsis are a little bit incorrect (So many drama in this site have incorrect sysnopsis btw) The right synopsis i would say = When a mysterious disease ravages a small village, a team of epidemiologist led by Doctor Khunkhao was send to investigate the source of the outbreak and contain the spread. (They do talk about ebola a bit but it was just the intro of the drama and not related to the case at the village at all)
Already done! definitely a great drama for me. I feel like alot of older kdrama are underrated sadly. Cain and…
I know right? thats why i always said this - just watch first whatever drama that pick your interest. dont mind other ppl comment much. everyone have different taste. who knows you might like it.
Ok I agree this drama are just ok. Just your typical Thai drama. The basic storyline are actually very interesting and different. It has so much potential but they didn’t make full use of it. Overall, I would say that there is some good scene/part that I really enjoy while there are also things that bother me.
Some scene that I really like: 1) Luang Indra scene where he is drunk and a hallucinating about his wife. I don’t know why but for me that scene is really touching and makes you feel emotional. 2) Collaboration of the trio. I like the part where they doing the autopsy scene even if they didn’t show it in details. 3) Pudsorn family & servants. They are all very funny. I always laugh when it was their scene especially the part where they beat up Luang Indra. 4) Luang Indra scene with his mother. Its nice to see his cute side. 5) When Pudsorn treat Luang Indra wound. Its cute but also make you satisfy because Pudsorn finally can get her revenge. 6) Of course, Pinky/ Jao Jom scene. She done very well as a villain in this drama. 7) Some people might not agree, but I like the end scene where Pudsorn and Luang Indra talking in front of Dr Mhod grave. That specific scene is really beautiful with a very nice bgm too. (If only they put a lot of such scene from earlier on, this drama will be much better). They didnt get married but they made a promise to wait for each other. The ending are not bad actually.
There are 2 things that bother me the most: 1) The slow pace in the middle/almost middle. The slow pace makes the show become a bit boring. I mean, there is no need to explicitly showing the crime done by the captain from a to z. It took them 2 or 3 episodes to show how evil the captain is. I just fast forward that part. You seriously won’t miss anything even if you fast forward. The point is you understand that he is evil. That’s all. 2) Rather than showing the captain scene longer, why don’t they use that time to resolve Luang Indra misunderstanding with Pudsorn and her family? Their misunderstanding can easily be resolve just by letting him reading the letter. Seriously I find their reason not letting Luang Indra know about the death of his wife or about the letter earlier is weak. At first, I actually find Luang Indra to be annoying. But later, I actually feel sooo bad for him. If you think rationally, people around him are the one who cause him to become like that when they actually can help him earlier. They keep quiet and letting him holding grudges for years just for a weak reason. They themselves saw how his mental health are getting worse but still choose to keep quiet about the truth and even expecting him to understand by himself. It doesnt make sense.
Tbh it was such a shame. This is always happen in thai lakorn. Many of their drama actually have potential to be successful. It always start good, with a good concept but then it getting worse OR their plot are not being utilized and expand better OR there is not much character development... Its not fair to the audience AND the actors involved (they have quite many good actors too but they always got mehh script/plot).
This drama are the same. It getting worse when they start focusing on the side character story more than the MC.
Done watching this. From my honest opinion, I think this drama also just like any typical lakorn with typical cliche. The only good thing in this drama is the ML and FL have a good chemistry added with sweet scene, the location and scenery are nice, the wardrobe are on point, and satisfying ending that is not just 5 min happiness between the ML and FL, the ost also quite nice.
However, the biggest downside of this drama is the unnecessary plot after halfway and the annoying evil character. Tbh if you think carefully, the story are actually very simple. Just a naive young girl (whose family are mostly annoying & bad) fall in love or should i say accidently had a one night stand with stranger whom she fall in love later. And of course, their love are not being approved and argument/fighting/misunderstanding happen. I think maybe thats why they put the unnecessary plot to make the drama to be different? But different doesnt always means good. The unnecessary plot (which the ML have an imply incest relationship with his mom) are just not it. Lastly, I was actually hope to see more character development from the FL but it was not that much. There is lack balance in the character. Its either too nice or too evil.
**After spending time reading the comment here, i can assured you that majority of people also feel that this drama put unnecessary plot. No one agree with such thing, no one praising the writer for doing that and most people are giving their honest opinion just fine. BUT, there are few people who did more than just giving an honest review. My advice, decide by yourself whether you want to watch this or not. No need to listen to others.
Btw can people stop bringing non related people here? talk about the drama pls and the actor involved in this drama. They keep on complaining not wanting her to act with the same person but at the same time keep mentioning that same person everywhere too like..?? Im sure if you called out their obsessive behaviour, they will act like they are the victim while you are the bad guy.
I'm watching. There are some unbelievable scenes (like the cache in the field), but else, it's very good and exciting.…
Agree. Im also not the type that care much about any flaws. As long as the drama are exciting and not making me bored, im ok with it. There are many drama that turn boring halfway but definitely not this one. Iljimae are good.
I havent finish watching this yet but i love it!!! From the 1st ep it keep me wanting to know what happen next.…
Already done! definitely a great drama for me. I feel like alot of older kdrama are underrated sadly. Cain and abel are actually good compare to some other popular hype drama.
try jdramas instead lol, that's what helped me. but the kdramas this season also seem interesting.
I dont know if i can be helpful. I watched few thai and jdrama this past few months, and the one that i personally think ok and interesting :
[Jdrama/movie] - Mr.Brain (mystery, psychological, with a bit of comedy) - Orthros no inu (mystery, psychological) - 1 litre no namida (slice of life) - Nodame no contabile (Comedy, music)
[Thai drama/movie] -The con heartist (Comedy with a bit of romance) -To me its simply you (comedy, slice of life, agriculture) -Love destiny (period drama, romance, mystery) -The crown princess (drama, action, romance) - kluen cheewit (drama, romance, revenge, hate to love)
*Not all drama that i recommend are new. Some are from 2009 or older. *Personally i like various kind of genre, So if you are more into romance fluff kind of story, some of the drama that i recommend might not what you are looking for. *i actually watched a lot of jdrama and thai drama in the past but when i start to fall in love with kdrama, i rarely watch it anymore. Only currently i start to watch it again. So... i only recommend the latest one that i watched because its still fresh in my mind. *Its a bit hard to recommend thai drama because some of thai drama are a bit "extreme". Especially the older one. They have quite many abusive element in it. The one that i recommend are fine. Only kluen cheewit i consider to be quite a bit extreme. But it still faaar better compare to others that i watched before. It is one of the most popular thai drama among international fan i would say.
