The leads officially become a couple in 16th ep. The romance is good not excellent though.. It might not be a typical rom com you are looking for, but the ML makes you immerse into this drama in no time.. So, I suggest you to give it a try. It will not disappoint you.
Even after watching all the eps, I still have a confusion on whether they really were transferred to a diff world and were all their memories erased before being transferred to their original world and the meteorite thing is a human made disaster and finally what is with the joker card???
