That's Korean?! We used to do that here in the Philippines back in the late 80s and early 90s elementary. I had no idea it originated from a Korean 80s show - "Prophet's Restaurant" 1986!
One cute thing about this show is you can see the differences in their acting.
1. The veteran group - seniors/elders/parents 2. The experienced group - the eldest couples 3. The young group - the youngest in the industry
It's like watching three dramas at the same time.
It is similar to The Penthouse. The veteran group and the new stars group, it was like watching two dramas.
It is also good for the actors because they can act more comfortably if they're with their same group (as far as experience goes) as compared to working constantly with the veterans or more experienced. Veteran actors are intimidating, and it takes a lot of time to be comfortable with your seniors (in age and/or in experience).
Though of course, it also have its disadvantages. They have less opportunities to work with their seniors (again, in age and/or in experience in the industry). The seniors can impart lessons and tips in acting, and the experience can push one to go beyond their limits.
But, as an audience, we can observe them and root for them and also learn about their trade.
Idk how come Jung so Min is entirely entirely removed from season 2 without getting a proper closure to her character…
"Mu Deok" is, for all intents and purposes, simply Nak Su's soul in that body. This was testified to by Master Lee and was repeated by Jin mama.
Both Master Lee and Jin mama established canonically that there can be only one soul per body. The show basically destroyed our speculation that there are two souls in the "Mu Deok" body.
Bu Yeon is the daughter of the Jin clan and the Choi clan. - Her father's extreme inferiority complex made him…
Yeah, that scene was epic. He just said to Jin Moo she's not his daughter and then cried his heart out when she was pushed to the lake.
He probably saw the conversation between Jang Kang and Jin mama; and got very jealous.
Also, his hatred against Jang Kang because of what happened to his sister was likely another major factor why he's denying Bu Yeon as his biological daughter.
It's too bad he died without realizing Bu Yeon is alive (or at least the body). At the end, his love for his second daughter trumped. He still is a father. Though twisted, his love for his sister was also powerful for him to take his life.
What he did was double meaning. (1) His love for his sister; and (2) his penance for the lies and pain he had cause to his wife and daughters (which is also love). I can't imagine being in that position. Filled with hatred and revenge but at the same time you love everyone too.
She got lucky there the PPEs were only to protect them from dusts and what not. LOLs.
I hope you like it!
^_^
Sugusugu dangdang sungdangdang.
