That scene made my skin crawl.Pedo’s like him deserve torture! I don’t know if they would get the appropriate…
Yep, the series suddenly turned very serious. It suddenly gave a very gruesome vibe. Especially how the deed was done, totally sh*t.

What is the series she acted in?

What exactly runs in the family? Did the same thing happen to JiEun's mom? Did I miss something? Thought it was…
The transformation runs on their mother's side.

During the tattoo scene, the sisters talked:

"If what mom and dad told us is true and it happens to us,"
"This is our proof of who we are and we'll vouch for each other."

Then later they explained how it happened to their mother, as well as, many in their ancestral line.

they lied for the sake of her boyfriend
I doubt.

In Viu's official translation, during the tattoo scene, the sisters talked like this:

"If what mom and dad told is true and it happens to us,"
"This is our proof of who we are and we'll vouch for each other."

Then later they explained it happened to their mother and many others in their ancestors.

Unless you are telling us a SPOILER from the webtoon, in which case you should've hidden it and informed us it is a spoiler from the webtoon.

On My Girlfriend Is the Man! Jul 24, 2025
The actor for Kim JiHun needs to loosen up. He looks funnily weird when he tried to act like a girl doing cutesy act. His body was so stiff. πŸ˜…

Also, the shave scene. Why give her a regular shave? He could've bought the modern shaves that makes it easier and doesn't damage the face skin. A skin like that will be damaged by a regular shave, not advisable.

Besides, didn't he realize that ladies know how to use shaves? They have their own too. πŸ˜‚ He is worrying too much. Meanwhile, his mangirlfriend was enjoying it all, she pretended not to know how to use shaves. 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣 Smart girl! I highly approve!

Going back, the actor really need to loosen up to copy ARin's movements. 😝 Relax. Let go of the prejudices you've learned about how a man should be. You are a water. Everything is fluid. Go with the flow. Be man enough to release the inner lady in you.

Like, this is barely a half-drama and we're already a quarter in - what is the main plot?! There's not a lot of…
It is indeed short. There are so many things happening that should be given some background.

I guess, they are experimenting on short-form format. Probably they were inspired by the British, 8-episode TV series format. The thing with British showbiz, they're not restricted by time slot. So, if they need more scenes, they can freely do that. But here in Asia, it's always about the time slots.

And yes, they shouldn't assume the audience read or will read the original source material.

That hypnotism scene, something has to be said about that because it's often dismissed.

Be very careful when someone tells you to "breath", "reeelllaaaax", "breath". Many people easily enters hypnotic mode and that's when they become susceptible to suggestions and/or subjective questioning.

You can search about police questioning cases where the suspect was inadvertently subjected to subjective questioning because the police didn't know any better. When it was proven, the police were banned from guiding people to breath and relax, and they were trained how to ask objectively. Yes, before it was proven, there were many falsely accused suspects.

Make sure that you can trust someone telling you to breath and relax and calm down and "empty your mind".

Another false belief is that hypnotism makes one close their eyes or fall half asleep. Not true at all. You can hypnotise someone without them closing their eyes.

Yet another false belief, you need some object to hypnotise someone. No. With the right words, you can hypnotise anyone.

Here's the thing, hypnotism is broad. In fact, the best term is mind conditioning or mind control. Marketers use it a lot. Politicians use it a lot. Brand managers use it a lot. The government too.

It's science, not paranormal or fringe.

And the more you understand your target, the higher your success will be. Why? Because different people reacts to different approaches and stimuli. Some have a strong mind, you'll have to find their weakness. Some are easy to manipulate, practically anything will work.

So, again, be careful. "Breath", "relax", "empty your mind", is not as innocent as you assume it to be.

Her asshole of a father didn't even have to use an object. He's a hypnotist wannabe only.

Will I do the same if I were in her position? More likely not. πŸ˜‚ I'd definitely kill him, increase the risks and danger, acting like I'm superman or Sun Tzu. πŸ˜…

Jung-Hyeon was going to kill A-Hyeon. Why didn’t she shoot him??
It's understandable. But remember, for one, she was abandoned. And by that time, she also learned they were not abandoned but rather "refunded". She is thinking of taking down the whole operation and probably thought:

1. If I kill him, I'll have less chance of taking them down. They will react by temporarily halting operations and destroying all records.
2. Or, they'll go declare war, which we can't take.

So, it's better to keep him alive.

Yes, it was a gamble. But at least they will think they are just kids. They wouldn't react, instead, they'll just dismiss them. Giving them time to hunt down the Head.

Killing someone isn't always the best course of action. Yes, even shooting at the leg can result in a reaction that ups the risks and danger, and in their situation, it won't do them any good.

She made the most advantageous decision for them. The result, they did not react nor increase their alert level. Which allows them room to move.

The kids were probably abandoned.

Or, they also have a secret pregnancy farm where they pay women to carry children but signed a document they will never claim them as their own. (IIRC, there was a case like that decades and decades ago, which inspired many detective and crime stories).

Then, when they're refunded, it's easy to cover it up as long as they stay dead, or off-the-grid. Missing people usually are not followed up after XX days, even more so if it stretches to months and yearsβ€”oftentimes presumed dead.

So, refunding is actually the easiest part of the entire operation. The law will never look for them after XX days. And if the kids were killed, well, perfect cover up.

I want to see Park BoYeong and Jo IHyeon in the same drama or film. The way they act have many similarities, if not exactly the same. Most especially when they're acting sad, neutral, caring, worried, even their voice, tone, pronunciations, inflections, are similar.

They could pass as mother-daughter, sisters, cousins, or maybe even rivals in a thriller or fantasy. πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

In E09 of Heads Over Heels, the way Jo IHyeon acts and speaks is starting to look like Park BoYeong.

When they're neutral or sad, their facial expression, acting, and voice are similar. I think they have similar eyes and lips too, though their face shape are different.

Jo IHyeon is loke Park BoYeong when she was younger. I wonder if IHyeon is a fan of BoYeong, so whenever she was watching her shows, she was unconsciously learning BoYeong's style.

LOL! I want them to appear in the same drama or film! It would be interesting to see them together. Mother-daughter? Sisters? πŸ˜‚πŸ’•πŸ’•

It was stupid idea to leave the little boy alone and to trust him to go and find some strangers?? Of course he…
Understandable but again he's a little kid who is simply looking for a parent's love and attention. He probably was adopted as a baby or preschool age going by his father's words, "you practically raised him yourself", which means they've been together for years.

To that kid, he probably doesn't remember he was adopted. And even if he does, the years they spent together made the kid believed and give them all his trust. So, of course the kid wouldn't believe his parents are evil people.

Granted, yes, he did make a mistake. By skipping the bag and cement process, the kid was did not reach a point where he was desperate and susceptible to listening. Instead of the kid seeing the old man as a saviour, he saw him as a kidnapper.

If only he bagged him and started the cement process, THEN "saving" him, the kid will listen to him more.

It's an age-old trick. You need to look like their saviour so they'll slowly let their guards down and trust you more. Because he rushed things, the kid ended up calling his mother β€” which is expected. If he didn't make that call, he isn't a realistic kid because all kids will make that call after what you've been told. πŸ˜†

That was a spoilery synopsis, it's a summary! πŸ˜…Luckily, it piqued my interest. So,. let's give this a try!
After watching E01.

It's not bad, but it's not good either. E01 was lacking, it wasn't able to hook me. There were also production errors, minor but noticeable. I'm assuming this is a low-budget show.

In any case, let's wait for E02.

Who killed Min Ju Yeong in the prison cell?
That's true too. It could be a representation of that, for example, the Yakuza had the last laugh in the end.

I noticed all KDrama advertised Kopiko and Subway. Probably these 2 company had signed contract with the television…
Ooh! Usually for TVING?

I haven't noticed it before though. Maybe because the PPLs weren't on subsequent episodes or on the preview.

I noticed it because Kopiko was in the episode where Subway appeared in the preview. 🀣🀣 Kopiko was still fresh in my mind!
