Right he has a very short time screen . Especially in the first 7 episodes 3 or 4 episodes he appears less than others and then we had to wait till 13/14 to see him again and now same as before
Well, personally, I am a fan of the main character in his other drama, I have seen his acting in more than 3 series , but this series is not really something that I can take the main character's side, because of every fool he plays, even on serious issues such as his soldier life and his cowardice to the point of killing people without thinking about it. "Well, I can't hit the target , why should I shoot if someone else dies?"

The way fl be like that seems cute and good and fl will changes in appearance and style in the dramas but this ml is kinda stupid version of a man , if he knows everything about his real identity than he should be a bit wise and know that everyone lifes are important. The exact problem is they changed the story which is now so different from the novel.
The way ml become might be because of the parents who saved him but his action in episode 21 isn't understandable since he could at least check on what he did.
About ML ( Hao wei ) i really liked him in The trust , at there he was the king and as when he role played being queen in king body he was so good for that. But in here i really can't understand this character, like there's nothing to catch viewers attention to ML. I'm sure most of us watching this for Yuching , amai , Shao yi , mu bai and maybe chenqi, cuase they'll are so good written characters. They have really a kind of supportive person around the FL and can be main lead even , but This ML just wants hug and kiss instead of thinking of everything carefully and be more serious when they're at the war ( it's now like a not worthy character ) . I saw a similar character in another drama and at there the character was an extra but the role suited that guy. As member of royal family and something like that it should be more caring about people. ( at least that's what the hero should do) but he's doing what even a villain doesn't it like a 7 years old kid mind with the appearance of a wise man. But Amai has been so good as i wasn't never disappointed in the whole story of it she doing great as role of a man the actions are so good. Wang ruichang is a really great actor i watched his other modern drama . I wonder why there's no historical drama which he's the main role , he deserves to be and do more historical drama. The role of general and prince suits him more. I wish i could see a drama which he's as the king and main role. I saw him in long ballad before at there even at first i didn't know he played a role in there whwn i saw the guy i was like oh is it Richards wang?! And yeah it's him.
