Thats why he had to do anything to force her back into prison by invalidating the confession. If An Yun Su were caught killing Sehun, who was tied to Mo Eum's killing case, there would be an indication that the two of them had an agreement for An Yun Su to be released.

the different is she actually tried to clear herself from the accusation. thats the price for an attempt since she didnt have any evidence to prove herself and she was desperate at that point. the story was moving by the time mo eun give her advice on what she should do next. even if she notice the fingerprint and the watch was there, the prosecutor would ignore them anyway using his power play.

have you watched the whole show yet? cuz they already show how she able to leave the prison cuz of the mo eun's confession which makes her "not guilty" or questioning why she is in prison when the culprit wasnt her (according mo eun's claim). and for mo eun's, she got a chance run away from the police/prison at the hospital.

they got an impression as if someone was feeding them the clues that pushed the narrative that she was the killer. and also, they knew that an yun su was an easy target for everyone (the prosecutor, and even mo eun who barely knows her).

its a great show that keeps your interest in every single episode.

i kept watching, feeling annoyed by the prosecutor throughout the show. even tho i knew he wasnt completely wrong about everything. but, the stubbornness and the power he had were.. ugh..
