I feel the same..they usually only use the hot muscular dudes for eye candy. They don't bother to flesh them out like they would other characters. It's the curse for hot guys they usually get stuck in roles like that.

I also thought the same thing but why prolong sadness for someone. Not telling them could worsen the effect since they have been sitting there waiting for someone whose never coming back.

It is honestly not Tian's responsibility to tell the villagers about Torfun's death, it's the rangers and everyone else who has been around them to do so. I swear if the villagers have a negative reaction to anyone it should be the chief and his posse who knew for months and lied. Also the doctor sitting there breaking dr patient confidentiality...whew chile.

I don't care how bad someone broke your heart you shouldn't put your hands on them no matter the gender. You don't have to treat them with the upmost respect but you should still keep your hands to yourself.
