Episode 2. The FL is very immature. Her overall personality is very childish. I can't handle characters like her, and the comedy is way too over the top for me that it borders on parody. And I really don't feel the chemistry between the leads. I don't think they match at all. I doubt I'll continue this...
Second half of episode 5, what the heck? 7 years later?????? While it was disappointing that they skipped so much just when it was getting good, I guess I can see why they did that considering the number of episodes and not going for a 2nd season. And I thought it would be bad, but the second half was just as good as the other episodes. Looking forward to the rest.
A little disappointed with the end of episode 7....Anyone else? What the heck is "too showy". How could she not share that perfect duet they pulled off from episode 5????????? But oh well, I set it as my ringtone. Don't think I'd ever get tired of listening to it. xD
I read the novel for this a few years ago so I was nervous about how the drama would go. Tbh, I vaguely remember the novel since it's been a while, but I do remember really liking it for its serene vibe. There was almost little to no angst and the interactions between the leads were so cute. And I have to say, the actors portrayed this very well that I immediately knew I'd stick with this until the end. But then....episode 5 came out. And I nearly fell out of my seat. My voice is nearly hoarse from all that squealing! I feel like this drama will be the death of me. xD
does mei chang su die at the end? cuz i really dont think i can grt attached to a character for them to die.
Let me tell you, I don't like any drama that ends where the MC dies in the ending. Which is why I hesitated in watching this. I went back and forth with watching the 1st episode, dropping it, thinking about trying it again, to finally picking it up again. And boy am I glad I did. Like @ShortCircuit said, his death, while sad, ended with him succeeding in his goal. And when you look at what his death brought about, you'll feel conflicted but at the same proud. If you watch this carefully, you will get attached to the other characters that has a happy ending. Wellll, while I say all that, I watch the 1 minute scene once in a while that was cut out where he survives to imagine that he really did and just hid himself.....^^ In the end, you won't regret giving this a chance.
Just finished this and really interesting. It had me on a roller coaster. Tbh, I didn't really feel there were any unanswered questions. While they don't directly answer it, you can get it from the context. Anyways, a very nice thrilling drama with a little romance on the side. I wouldn't mind watching this again.
Everything....I mean evvvvvvvvvvverything about this was 10000000% perfect!!!!! I can't even put it into words. You have action, comedy, a liiiiitttttttle romance, including tearjerking, heartbreaking and exciting scenes. The acting, cast, story, production and etc. There wasn't a single thing I'd complain about. This is one of those memorable dramas you'd find yourself wanting to see again and again without getting tired of it. And there's a second season. This made 2022 the best year ever for me.
I regret watching this. It wasted my time. I should have read the spoilers. -_- The first 1 hour 30 min. was great, but then everything changed towards the end. I haven't read the manga, but it's completely different from the anime. And that last scene...I mean, what the heck happened to that awesome acting from the start?
I AM MAD!! MAAAAAAAADDDDDD!!!
I wish I can give it a -10 instead. Ugh...but +10...no +15 for the children actors. ^_^ Hmm, and +1 point for the hour and a half I somewhat enjoyed. That way it'll cancel out the negative, giving it a final score of 6. xD
My idea for a sad ending, is having one of the leads die. As long as there is none of that, then it's fine. Thank you! xD I'm curious though, who did she end up with?
Definitely Goblin, especially Goblin. I cried like there was no tomorrow during the mother daughter moment. I admit that I'm rather a crybaby when watching sad scenes (which is why I try my best to avoid drama with sad endings) but that scene just struck at my heartstrings and I ended up crying for a good while. I'm on the verge of crying just by reading what you wrote. :( I regret not watching that when I was alone because my family panicked when they saw me and thought something was wrong. ^^
I dropped this on the first episode. I usually don't believe remakes of other countries bc they're just…
I was going to give up on watching this drama as well since the 1st ep seems so similar, but after reading what you said about seeing both twins and the ending, I'll give it another try. :D
EVERYTHING, including the Cast, the story and the Music were so good ..... It is really rare that i am interested…
Same here, from beginning to end, I loved every part of this drama. The music, the actors, the story...I don't have one complaint. And what is usually rare, were how even the villains played their part nicely. The whole 30 hours of drama had either heart-wrenching, blood boiling, heart-warming, or LMAO scenes. xD
